I truly appreciate Kove’s innovative approach to filling a gap in the market that major manufacturers have seemingly ignored. Wish you all the best in this 2025 Dakar you deserve it !!
This bike deserves great success! I wish the best to drivers, teams, organizations. If it was not very good and consistent, no private competitor would have chosen it!
A competitive rally bike at half the price of the other Rally bikes with a proven reliability record makes the Kove a very good choice for privateers. I hope they all do great.
She said it right there, it’s a family! Privateers make up most of any grid and to have brands recognise and support them is truly remarkable, kudos to Kove and their efforts 🙌
Because the bikes are so heavy that it's dead easy to build a 450 with giant plastic tanks that barely costs more then the enduro bike. KTM always knew this but prefered to keep milking people so it was just a matter of time before someone like Kove realized this and improved on it for cheap.
An ex is 20k€ and a ktm is close to 40k€ no wonder the people are going for the EX instead of the KTM. I figure next year there will be 20+ Kove at Dakar. Especially under the privateers it will become a big hit, especially if all the Malle Moto guys make it to the finish on the kove ita going to be hit for years to come
@edstoica Well as someone who is saving up to do the Dakar in a couple of years I can tell you it's both. I'm really interested in Kove because they are the new kid on the Block, but the bike is the difference between saving up a minimum of 60k€ or 80k€ for my first Dakar. 20k Bike, 20k entry fee and 20k for gear, parts, navigation and safety equipment on the bike, flights etc. And that is if you come alone. If you go with a team it's an immediate 80-120k to do the Dakar. If you're the kind of guy who spends 20k on vibes alone, good for you I guess, but for working people it makes a giant difference. Your second Dakar gets significantly cheaper, but the first one comes with a steep bill. I think if you do the Malle Moto class you can go as low as 30-35k for your second and ongoing Dakar, depending how many times you are willing to use the same bike, before you absolutely have to Upgrade to a new one, because of reliability concerns

If you don't mute the sound this is unwatchable. The Chinese language is hard on the ears.
