In my last Nergigante armor video, I show you how the attachments work and how the whole costume is put together. I mainly use Velcro, leather belts and D rings to keep everything in place. The costume is made completely out of EVA foam and foam clay. So it’s quite comfortable and lightweight. It took me 3 months to build everything and I’m really proud of the final result!

Absolutely incredible, the amount of effort and time you and Benny put into all your cosplay makes you both inspiring people. One day with the help of your books I hope ill be able to produce something even half as badass!

I definitely recommend buying her books, they are really great. Only downside is the digital versions are licking friendly, leaves too many smears on my TV.

Only bad thing of making cosplay armor is trying to sit on a chair while wearing it.
or trying to walk through some doors. Learning to do the crab shuffle sideways if you wear pauldrons is worth doing. I did know a guy years ago that used to dress up in full chunky battle gear, at one point he had a bottle inside the massive cod piece in case he needed a whiz in an emergency lol

The only thing, being a 17 year monster hunter vet, The dual blades are terrible, not the cosplay, the weapons in the game, and if you can't wear them in full costume it's ok, literally any other monster hunter dual blades are better, may i suggest kirin? Easy cosplay weapon project

Do you use a special kind of Velcro for this?
I often have the Problem that the Velcro I use is kinda weak and doesn't hold up that much, let alone keep things closed when I move around qq
Same, mine falls apart constantly/doesn't stick (with contact glue or hot glue or even sewing) correctly so I had to switch to those hooks to keep things in place all day (yet it's more expensive and harder to put together)
@@StitchMiUp yeah same here :/ either that or I reconstruct stuff that I'm able to use elastic bands or ribbons
Same. I've used the industrial strength velco (high quality velcro) and it still has come apart. I always use the plastic buckles.
