I think your Grandpa needs to go on a college tour rating all the dining halls.
My favorite college food was chicken sandwich, similar to McDonald's chicken sandwich, and after a bunch of years, I realized the pizza was pretty good. The idea that food could be really tasty, at your school, was not new to me, but getting dim sum, street Chinese, and fried noodles with wok 'smell,' like they were talking about in the clip, existed in another world. I'm gonna recommend UMass Amherst to my nephew, who will be applying to schools in 1+ year. Clip was a lot of fun to watch.

damn worcester has changed a lot since I went to umass. Looks way better than it used to. The oak room was my favorite, but they got rid of it and combined it all. But that used to be the specific like asian food there. They used to do indian and chinese. It was mad good. Really different now with all the little stations. Cool you went there. Umass food was the best college food I have ever had hands down

Dang RIP Oak Room. Loved that place. After I moved off campus Junior year I used to wait by the door of the glass corridor that separated the two main dining rooms and knock to be let in. I'd also sneak into Franklin by waiting for a student to leave through one of the exit doors and slip right in. 2010-2014. Good times 😅
@@TheHamburgler123 In Worcester DC I would walk in and take a hard left into the men's room. Wait a minute and just casually walk in past the person stationed at the doors like I was just coming back from the bathroom. Worked every time.
@cmay68888 Hell yeah, brother! Fight the power. Only got caught and kicked out once by an upper management guy at Franklin who saw me slip in the exit. I was eating free at the dining commons at least three times a week during junior and senior year.

I got the stir fry noodles almost 4 days a week for lunch. Dim sum fridays were the besssssst and they had the sweet red bean buns 🥰don’t forget lobster and filet mignon every Halloween for dinner
