Superb, subscribed straight away after the first few bars of this piece, superb example of how to play this, I liked the change of speed and you made it sound authentic. I work on this myself and am relearning the fingering etc. as I could not get the fast scale passages down, so started again.
thanks so much for the encouragement and kind words! Keep at it, i've been playing this one for awhile and every time I go back, I need to put in extra work (in slow sections on legato playing and phrasing, and particularly in the faster mid section to get both hands ready to rip). I love Maximo's music because they always have these cool shifts in mood from section to section that gives you and your listeners some variety and interest. You can take them places and then return! Thanks for the sub, i'm working on more vids this weekend!! best- Andre
@@andreplaysguitarra you’re welcome, yes I feel the same about Maximo, the pieces have an interesting element to them with their variations in tempo they are also very emotive. I am obsessed with his pieces, been trying to find someone on here who does his entire etudes. I am only about a grade 4 and like to find pieces I really connect with such as this prelude instead of standard repertoire. Cheers 👍
