Hi Sir. Hope you're doing awesome! Just wanted to say I'm a huge fan of your TH-cam videos. They're super cool and I've watched every single one. But there's this one video where you made that flange with nuts and bolts-it was mind-blowing! I was wondering, if it's not too much trouble, could you share the Revit family for that flange? It would mean a lot to me and help me learn more about it. Your videos really inspire me, and getting that family would be like a dream come true. Thanks a bunch for considering it!. I have already sent you an Email on your Gmail check. and thanks thanks again
Hello thank you for your excellent videos. I have successfully created the nut bolt and washers ready for this video. I have 2 questions, where does the 'Nut Spacing' parameter come from? Also is there a setting to bring some of the family parameters through to the final family eg 'across flats' as I do not have this in my family types. Thanks again
You can add a parameter for nut spacing in your bolt nut family and will associate with flange thickness. "Across flat" is one of parameter of nut or bolt head family.
@@ThomRVT Hello ThomRVT I am so close with getting all of this modeled, all is working accept the nut spacing doesn't correspond to the thickness of the flanges. I cant get the Nut Spacing Parameter right. Iv added the nut spacing parameter in nut bolt family but what do I relate that to? Thank you if you have time to help 👍👍😀
@@ThomRVT Hi, Many thanks for taking the time to pull these videos together. I too am almost finished but have hit a hurdle with the distance between the two washers in the Nut Bolt Family. I have created a parameter 'Flange Depth' in the nut bolt family and have a formula for it in the main flange family. I then 'equals' the Flange Depth property on the child Nut & Bolt to the Flange Depth formula in the main family but no matter what I do the nut bolt doesn't change length. I have a gap on one side of the flange up to the nut & washer. I'm sooooo close. I see you have the T*2 but I must be missing where it is applied. Any advice?
Could you share your ANSI flange family?
Need a short video about cable tray with different designs
Thanks a lot
I hope you put the family in the description.
Great stuff. Thanks a lot

Please check pipe connector in family and associate to pipe nominal diameter
Hey Thom with what did you associate the nut spacing originally ?
Yeah. Pease check pipe fitting & accessory for orientaion.

@@minboy8421 you have to add a parameter for nut spacing in bolt nut family. And then, formula is double of flange thickness in the main family
Thank you for you reply, I’ve learnt so much thanks again
