Que interesante vídeo de como distinguir con el código VIN, Vehicle Identification Number de la familia del Chevrolet Corvette C3 de "Tercera Generación", cual modelo especifico posee un propietario de estos hermosísimos carros deportivos con esa particular y muy curvilínea carrocería de fibra de vidrio, coloquialmente llamados "Botella de Coca-Cola"...hay que decir que de esta generación marcó tres eventos en la historia del Corvette...de los modelos 68 al 70, marcó la Cúspide de la era "Muscle Car", en especial con los motores "Big Block" de 427 CID y 454 CID de 6998 y 7441 centímetros cúbicos respectivamente, con potencias máxima entre 425 a 650 caballos de fuerza (Horsepower, HP), luego la era después de la crisis petrolera de 1973 cuando los motores "Big Block" desaparecieron debido al alto consumo de combustible y el establecimiento de dispositivos de anticontaminación que prácticamente estrangularon la potencia de los motores de 600 HP a "solo" ¡130 HP!!!... y que el año 1983 fue el único año en que no se produjo en serie, en preparación para la siguiente generación C4 que apareció en 1984....Personalmente me ENCANTARÍA tener un Corvette de esta generación...ojalá uno de los últimos convertibles Stingray de 1975 que se produjeron...pero aquí en Colombia JAMÁS llegaron esos "Vettes"...pero tuve el privilegio de conocer "En vivo y en directo" un hermoso Corvette ZR-1 convertible de 1991 con el increíble motor LT-1 de inyección electrónica de combustible de 5735 c.c. o 350 CID de ¡405 HP!!!....Definitivamente es el auténtico deportivo americano por excelencia....

Por que ningún corvette trajo un small block 400ci? De 4 main bolts? El día que compré un c3 con caja de 4ta me gustaría meterle un block 400 de 4 tornillos la bancadas del cigüeñal, creo es más potente que el 350/383 , y no es tan tan grande como un 454, dame.ti opinión, gracias

Sí,... tienes el Motor ( base ) 350 pulgadas cúbicas = Max. 190 HP.
con muy baja Relación de Compresión = 8,2 a 1
y una Relación Final ( Diferencial ) de 3.07 a 1
