Dear friends, I hope you are all doing well.
This week, I was thinking about all the things in my life that are helping me to live alot more peacefully, being a more sensitive person and also living in a big city which can be a truly challenging combination sometimes. Over the years, I have learnt to understand myself better and what helps me to feel more at peace and helps me to thrive. I wanted to share some thoughts and ideas with you here. I hope some of these things may help or inspire anyone out there, especially if they are more of a sensitive individual and who tends to feel more overwhelmed soemtimes (like I do).
Please do feel free to share any of your thoughts or helpful tips here below for our lovely community too.
    Much love,
    Lika xx

You said it very well. It’s life as it should be lived in a sea of madness. I believe turning away from Corporate Media programming is a first step to awakening. Moving to the countryside allows one to finally escape the matrix. I never regretted it. Life is too precious. ❤

Its great to hear from someone who remained sensitive as an adult. For me it faded. It use to be quite embarrassing. All the shame and nervousness and sadness. You talk about it so beautifully. Thanks for your perspective on life :).

Thanks for your lovely video ❤ I am also very sensitive, but spent most of my life trying to hide it. I think you are right that acceptance is key, and I now try to honour that part of me. I think your tips were all great. I also find lightning a candle when i'm feeling anxious helps calm me xx

This is very beautiful commentary. Being the same way , I found myself falling in love with an introverted man who is intelligent and sensitive. Then I found myself with him building a house in the country and leaving city life behind. Like you I decided to make efforts to avoid insensitive places and activities. I don’t go into large supermarkets or attend any sports. I opened up a gallery studio where I could invite sensitive people over and my life is complete!

I really enjoyed your video. There is a lot going on in the world 🌍 today. Sometimes I have to turn off TH-cam because it can be a bit much at times. I would like to start journaling more, and playing guitar, and music more. I recently had foot surgery, and now I am slowly getting back into working out regularly, and doing yoga. I definitely prefer a slower and more peaceful life. I don’t need to have a lot In order to be content. What kind of soup were you having? It looks delicious.❤

I’ve felt alone for years because of this! I believed I was the only one who felt this way, I also need space & time alone to process things, having recently diagnosed with that C word, I am struggling to allow friends & family to support me, being introverted & sensitive it’s difficult to do, thankyou for this video ❤

Thank you so much for posting about this I have felt this way most of my life it’s been so strange to read there are others like me I think this is maybe why I spend so much time alone in the forest I feel such a deep connection and see beauty in absolutely everything around me and yes I feel overwhelmed most of the time in this modern world my love to all that feel this way .

I can relate to so much in this beautiful video…..I watch very little news or read papers etc, I also don’t feel the need to either, if the news is on in my family’s homes I watch, if not, I don’t.
I am learning the hard way about people pleasing and trying to fit in to society, so finding it very hard to break those habits, but as I spend more time on my own I am learning more and more about myself, so enjoying the process.
Like you I am an introvert and a sensitive person and find joy in nature, reading, crafting, my needs are simple, I think. Meditation is something I make time for every morning and have found it to be most beneficial in my life, but it is my mind that is restless, not my physical being, although it is getting better the more I believe in myself, trust myself, make time for myself and stop trying to change what cannot be changed.
Stay beautiful and true, love always xx

Thank you for sharing what you’ve discovered that helps you. I live in a small city and have very similar ways to you of keeping my soul peaceful. One that I’ve recently started is in the late afternoon taking a walk to a nearby park/open area and watching the sun drop down behind the hill, bare feet on the ground and connecting to nature. I’m so much calmer and feel more in tune to the nature and Mother Earth. ❤

I’ve known a couple highly narcissistic people who are highly sensitive. Ive known people who are deeply empathetic who are highly sensitive. So there are all types of people who have highly sensitive personality types.
Your energy is very beautiful and I relate to all these healthy habits and routines you are doing! I’m enjoying your videos very much!

Lika thank you for your thoughts and advice regarding being a sensitive person. I have been the same way most of my life however in recent years more so. I do also avoid the news and scary movies. Both leave me very unsettled, afraid and or sad. I do try to meditate and I find being by myself in a peaceful and quiet environment I am so much more content. I do feel I need to start journaling however I am a bit paranoid I can’t really put my thoughts down in case someone would read them and I would feel judged. I could journal maybe with just words of thankfulness as I do know being grateful is part of my thoughts throughout each day. I appreciate your soothing voice and I look forward to your next video……take care!…..Lisa 🤗🙏💓

Hi Lika, only yesterday I discovered your channel, you make so beautiful videos, thank you!!! I am very pleased to follow your videos and discover that you too are a Highly Sensitive Person. It is not at all easy to live this way, but there is no other way than to accept it and find a way to live with it and make the best of it. Unfortunately we are not many, we are 15% maximum 20% of the population.
I would like to point out a beautiful film released this year, it is a film truly suitable for very sensitive people: ''Perfect Days'' by Wim Wenders, I love it!!!! , I hope you want to see it and I hope it has the same effect on you that it had on me, an unforgettable film, a caress to the heart. ♥thank you for this video ♥ it makes me feel less alone
