Shout out to his mom, as she was the force that did the research and supported this healing journey. However, congratulations to Matt for doing his own work. Dad was there too, doing his part.

yes but they are multi millionaires its skewed to those who have endless resources and our family has those same resources, and we know that this is a huge investment that some simply cannot afford its not just starting keto the importance is a life time of maintenance

In just the last few days a new study came out (funded by the Baszucki Group) that supports this as a treatment for severe psychological disorders.

Thank you for sharing your story. My child at his twenties has suffered from aspergers has been getting better every week with medical keto diet. His aggression, anxiety and depression got much better like 90 percent in 3 months. You are helping many people who are desperate by sharing your story courageously.

Thank you for sharing your story Matt! It gives hope to so many suffering. I went high fat ketovore a year and a half ago and I am not getting debilitating migraines and emotional imbalances anymore. I suffered for 25 years. I can’t even express how liberating and life changing it has been! Proper food, sleep and exercise seems to be the best medicine. Please keep sharing your experience!

So fantastic that you got him to this conference and that he gave such an amazing presentation! Just absolutely 🤯. Great job. BOTH OF YOU! The quality and level of the talks so far have just been next level.

I met Jan, Mat's mum on the 2 nd KetoLive in Bergün Switzerland and heard about her son's story. Having Bipolar Disorder as well I realized what Mat and his wonderful family achieved.
Thanks a lot for all what are you doing. I wonder if I am the only Bipolar LMHR ????

I found this out in 2019 after withdrawing cautiously then looking at diet, starting with cutting out sugar, then processed foods, then using keto diet. Still affected now if I even have a little of something with sugar and/or processed food.

I hope Bazucki foundation can get into traditional psychiatric conferences. I've met with 2 psychiatrists who know nothing about Keto and Mental Health... One of them said it was dangerous.

Amazing! I've heard the story before but great presentation. I'm wondering if Matt ever experienced potentiation of his medication's side effects while on keto diet?

Also absolutely incredible that Matt could get by for some time going to bed at 2:30am and be fine. Having either bipolar/schizoaffective, I've been SUPER strict with my sleep for years now, hoping keto might alleviate that but of course, I understand the importance of sleep, just would like to bend here and there without fear. And the ketone levels he got were really high when he started - I wonder if the numbers matter over time on the diet.

great story but i struggle with the accessiibilty to those who dont have a lot of resources Keto for mental health really needs oversight by a specific dietician that is versed in SMI not just metabolic or autoimmune issues. I think some coverage of more accessible and attainable eating patterns should be included such as low glycemic which does not require such close monitoring Also no one speaks to the TMAO issue

Ha ha ha. I was told i could only stay in treatment if i did diabolical behavior therapy. Go into a store and ask for change. How did that help you?
I do the carnivore thing. Congrats.

dr Mercola and others finally realized Keto is NO Good Long term YES short term but once one looses weight one must introduce more carbs like Dr Atkins also said..
