Providence, A No Load Door Settlement Near Ivarstead! For PC (AE/SE/LE)

- Today, I'm featuring Providence, a Skyrim no load door settlement located just outside Ivarstead! The original mod was created by Gary62 for LE and was ported to SE by Shawntejade! The settlement is nestled in the forest, filled with aspen trees. You'll find a shield out-front with notes that contain the backstory. The mod provides all expected crafting (arcane enchanter, alchemy lab, full smithing suite), as well as a cooking pot and woodchopping block. There are lots of clickies to light and extinguish lights, unpack the carriage, set the table and cooking pot, and add food to the plates on the tables. The mod gives you a blacksmith vendor and mage vendor that can double as followers. They have their own beds, as well as having 8 additional beds for your own followers. You also have a double outhouse! I know you're excited about that feature! There's a lot to enjoy in this mod! Hope you enjoy exploring it as much as I have! Really nice place. Seems very lore-friendly and I like the no-load door concept with all the shutters! I like the location, too. 👍

I know the feeling! Adding homes and settlements is pretty addictive! I love seeing the world having unique homes and seeing what people with imagination and skill can create!

If you want to skip through the backstory and just see the features, I've timestamped this video, so it's easy for you to navigate. Also, in the video, I showed you a number of activators, but some lights and fires still have their own individual activators on top of that, and some outdoor lights are set to automatically shut off at 7 a.m. and light themselves at 6 p.m. Just thought I'd clarify that! Hello again! If anyone is having problems loading up the file that was my bad. Turns out when I compressed the previous file on my MacBook when I was away from home, a clone of the files and file structure was made in the compressed file and messed everything up. Now that I am back on my PC, I have uploaded a properly compressed file that should hopefully work! 😅

This is really impressive! I wonder what the framerate is like with an army of followers. This seems like a really cool place to have as a base.
The framerate was fine by myself with the two followers and the horse, but I did not bring additional followers to test. Glad you liked it though!
I'm sure a few folks are wondering: is there a patch for Kaidan?
Hey Hey! I am in the process of creating patches to work with Kaidan. I may have to get in touch with the different teams working on all the variants of him to see what I can safely move around so it may take a while before I put them up on the page. 😅

I need a method to eliminate weather from a no-load door home without affecting the entire cell that contains the home. Has anyone heard of such a thing?
I'm not sure I understand. I've always understood that Real Shelter was the mod used in LE to keep rain out of no load door homes, whereas SE, you don't have to worry about that issue because of some difference that was made in the update.
@@SkyrimPlus - I'll admit it may be my game, but whenever I try a no-load home it always rains inside during rain. I recently revisited the issue while trying to take the old Nord tower asset in CK and make it into a no-load home. Unfortunately, it still rains indoors during rain.
I like this, but I cannot get this to show up in game. Do you know what's up with that?

I had a few homes not showing up for me after the last update, and when I installed this, they worked.

@@AerisShenlin If you are still having problems, I have uploaded a new compressed file. Turns out when I compressed the previous file, a clone of the files and file structure was made by MacBook for whatever reason it may have loaded the cloned files which would be empty. Now that I am back on my PC, I have uploaded a properly compressed file that should hopefully work! :)
@@shawntejade That's great! I've fixed the issue by restructuring the file tree and using the mod SkyrimPlus mentioned. Just went to visit the place and it's working fine :)
