You do need to come to NZ. It is like Australia but beautiful, and our wildlife doesn't want to kill you😂 If you do come, I can show you some cool trails.
I would buy merch, def have to have the curse tee!! Great tribute to Steve and great story for a bike, what a legend, ya a good mate! they are a awesome bike too! Good to see some great people still in NZ and in MTB.. I think ya have the gab for a merch line so keep it simple stupid and they will fly off the shelves! So much material from the crew, your not following me Lance, handsome Steve, lots of momentum, The Curse strikes again! Build it and they will come!🤘
What an awesome tribute to a great guy, glad you loved the bike. As for the merch I’d 100% buy. Full range clothing, decals, the lot 👍👍 great video Lance.
Got my first emtb recently (Transition Relay, NX alloy version 23/24’) - the big brother of your Sentinel….wonderful bike and very lively - enjoy!!! Nothing like finding a fresh trail anaconda! Cheers on the hazy
@@bestdayevermtb2 I'm really enjoying eeb life. Although today was my first snow ride with studded tires on my meat-powered bike (phew!!), and I may be hopping on pinkbike to find some gently used schwalbe ice spikers for my emtb!
@@bestdayevermtb2 Yeah -that kind of snow riding suxx. My winter riding basically is on frozen hardpack trails with a dusting of snow and lots of ice patches (that can catch you out if you're not running studded tires), or hardpacked snow, which requires a light touch so you don't bust thru the crust into the soft stuff. It's a lot of fun
Sentinel is a great bike solid choice Steve! But I’m not biased because I have one or anything 😅 A merch line with some of the famous dads army quotes or something would be gold
😂😂😂😂 “Love a bit of ole native bush” Don’t we all lance……don’t we all. Btw, that’s the main reason I sold my sentinel, to long. The chain stays are just too long. You could mullet it. But I just sold mine and bought a Norco
The bike is easily the longest bike I own. I know this as I have hooks on the wall in my garage. On most of the hooks, the rear wheel is still on the ground.
I have that problem a lot. I seem to need to hit the jumps faster to clear them. If you watch some of my videos I take corners long to try and maintain the distance.
Steve o would be so happy with the the new owner of his steamer Lance 😊great video ,I guess it’s merch on the cards then ,pretty sure I’m a medium in sizes 🤥
I get all my work done by electrify nz on the KTM. I have used Jamie from BRM cycles in West Gate, and he is good. I have also used Bike medic in the past, but not for a long time. I don't live on the North Shore, so not much help there. Hopefully, someone else may be able to help.
Please tell me 1 of you guys did not drop a mars bar on the trail.😁. Thats cheeky whoever it was. Thats a cool bike kinda like zaks frames wize i know they are different.steve would love that bike shredding hard. Your merch would sell good i reckon.👌🤙
I need some advice really on how to do it. I need a designer, a manufacturer and a distributor. Not sure I want to spend my time couriering out T shirts.
Hey Lance I'm a OG mtber from eons ago thinking of visiting NZ ,which island should I visit Nt or Sth for best bang for bucks,Always enjoy watching for guys, Cheers 🇦🇺
That is a tricky one. The two islands feel to me like two completely different countries. If you are coming to mountain bike in the summer then personally I would do the South Island. Saying that the North Island is also beautiful and you could easily ride in Rotorua for a week. I have been lucky enough to travel the world but still think NZ is a bit special.
@braddyboy83 This is the North Island. I live in Auckland and think it is a beautiful city with some good riding. Tourists like the South Island for mountains, scenery, and lower population density. I think an ideal NZ adventure would be both Islsnds.
@SteveHarris-c5g • 57 minutes ago Hi Rob, I’m wearing the Fox Titan jacket. Bloody amazing armour. Saved me big time on our Canada trip this year. Shredded my shirt but left me well.
Thanks for the shout out! Shirt looks great! Now go get it dirty. Those trails look unreal. I need a trip to NZ asap
You do need to come to NZ. It is like Australia but beautiful, and our wildlife doesn't want to kill you😂 If you do come, I can show you some cool trails.
Nahhh it’s horrible here bro 😜
Steve had good taste, great to see his bike going for a rip, you know it will be a keeper
Definitely a keeper. It rode really nice.
Your merch line would be pretty easy. XXL for all your subscribers!😂
Thats wild haha
Zak tells me he is only a medium. 😂
Dont leave me out im 3XL
Steve would have a big smile on his face, like he always did !!..
He would have loved that day. Perfect conditions at 440, lots of banter followed by some beers.
I would buy merch, def have to have the curse tee!!
Great tribute to Steve and great story for a bike, what a legend, ya a good mate! they are a awesome bike too!

Thanks, I have thought about merch, but I'm not sure how to go about it. If I do anything, I want it to be really good or not at all
What an awesome tribute to a great guy, glad you loved the bike. As for the merch I’d 100% buy. Full range clothing, decals, the lot 👍👍 great video Lance.
Thanks, Chris. Will put you down for a medium. 😊
Wholesome content Lance! Good to see Steveo’s rig getting a runout just as he wanted 🙌 ❤️
I know that would have made him happy.
That is a beautiful bike Lance and obviously priceless given it's heritage. Yeah I would buy merch if it could ship to UK!
Yes, it is a nice bike. Will have to give the merch some thought. I want it to me cool and professional but not sure how to do that.
YES!!! i want a "i'll edit that out" or "Don't worry, I'll edit that out" shirt. 😁
That is my catchphrase.😂
😂
What a great way to remember your mate Steveo. I would buy a shirt.
Thanks heaps. They are apparently all going to be XXL. Will that be ok?
@ might be a couple of sizes too big for me lol.
I hope you'll be adding a Zak "Yeah boi!!!" T shirt to the merch collection with a cartoon Zac face on it
That sounds like a good idea.
Got my first emtb recently (Transition Relay, NX alloy version 23/24’) - the big brother of your Sentinel….wonderful bike and very lively - enjoy!!! Nothing like finding a fresh trail anaconda! Cheers on the hazy
Have fun on the transition. I still love my ebb.

@jokermtb Only ever ridden in snow once in Whistler. It was soft and almost impossible to keep moving.

@jokermtb Sounds fun. Where do you live?

It is a great bike. I have some plans to take it to places I discussed with Steve. Keep watching.

Awesome tribute to your mate Steveo. I would buy a tee shirt off you, XXL would fit.
We are doing one size fits all XXL😂
I would buy your merch lol
Thanks for the support.
Please do merch! Would buy 100 percent!
Thanks very much. Nice to know
😂😂😂😂

Was, an awesome day. Will get a medium put aside for you.😊
@ fantastic day ☺️
Hi Lance another great video. I have recently moved to Auckland from the UK, can you recommend a good bike mechanic pref on the North Shore.
I get all my work done by electrify nz on the KTM. I have used Jamie from BRM cycles in West Gate, and he is good. I have also used Bike medic in the past, but not for a long time. I don't live on the North Shore, so not much help there. Hopefully, someone else may be able to help.
Lance we would buy a shirt and a sticker 🎉
I am starting to think I need to do this now. I need a designer now.
Please tell me 1 of you guys did not drop a mars bar on the trail.😁. Thats cheeky whoever it was. Thats a cool bike kinda like zaks frames wize i know they are different.steve would love that bike shredding hard. Your merch would sell good i reckon.👌🤙
It's definitely not a Mars bar. Just glad we all missed it on our first lap.
Id buy ya shirt if you had one :)
You haven't seen the design yet. You may change your mind.😂
You are kidding yourself. Merch all day long .step up. Cant wait to get back, beck, to New Zealand .
I need some advice really on how to do it. I need a designer, a manufacturer and a distributor. Not sure I want to spend my time couriering out T shirts.
shit this made me tear up mate
Glad you liked it. I have a big adventure planned for that bike. Steve and me talked about it alot.
As soon as you said Second hand I thought STEVEO. Interesting you ride Steveo's bike so he didn't push you off.
I felt instantly comfortable on that bike. Keen to try more jumps on it.
Id buy stickers as merch support but not shirts or hats
What about wrist supports and Moon boots? A lot of my subscribers use them😂
You should try an e transition?
to expensive for what you get.
I would be keen to ride one if the opportunity came up.

I am not sure. I will get him to answer that one.

Sorry about that shit on the trail, but i can promise it wasn't me !!...😂😂
Are you sure?
@bestdayevermtb2 pretty sure I didn't leave that behind 🤣🤣
