3:38 JtoH jumps cap at mid tier 10 and that’s only because of toer. Everything else is extremely easy so I would suggest that players do all jumps in harder tiered obbies to increase jump knowledge.
I recently returned to jtoh and the thing that affected me the most was the FPS cap I used to be able to beat extremes and terrifyings but after the cap I was able to beat ToIE and nothing else this video helped me a lot thank you
5:08 I've done this tons of times, me saying to myself "i have a major skill issue" and "im actually trash at jtoh" it made me constantly fall way more than usual on ToH, even the parts that i can easily breeze pass.
this is what i do 1. do all beginner towers 2. do ToH (skip ToK) 3. do ToK 4. to get further prepared for ToKY, do ToOH. 5. Do ToKY 6 do ToCH (ring 2) 7. do ToS 8. do ToSD and ToFaF 9. do ToR 10. do ToIE or ToTH ToIE: easy gameplay, not many safety nets ToTH many inside safety nets, but outside... One move, one slip, can send you back down to floor one. Be prepared to get far and fail. 11. do ToTS 12. do ToES 13. decide on your first sc. These are some of the starter sc's: ToDT: if you are good at purist gameplay
One thing that i find helpful is too keep going till you beat ToTS or ToES then move to your first sc as quickly as you can manage. Since those towers will give you a good understanding in the three sc towers i recommend: ToTL, ToDC and ToDT then you can choose freely on what to do next. And don't hurry to much on getting to extreme towers because that will take a long time so you should focus on doing insane towers first. Feel free to get a trail mix if you have some Robux to spear. Hope this helps :D
4:20 - I’ve also improved at obbies a lot by building them. I like to play games like Obby Creator, which can help you better understand how certain jumps work. You can also use Obby Creator to practice things like wall hops, 10 stud wraps, 12 stud long jumps, etc.
yeah, i also play obby creator and this really helps. some jumps are a bit strange and you cant find them in practice games, so its very helpful just for practicing.
These tips are pretty good but there are some flaws, trying to enjoy a tower will probably not happen as most towers in jtoh are trash and dont have good gameplay, honestly the best way to beat frustrating towers is to suck it up and play it more till you beat it, atleast thats what i do. Also dont EVER do toes as your first rem, its a mistake and took me nearly two weeks to beat ( around 6 months ago i beat this ) great video
Another tip I would suggest is take your time. (For the most part.) Jtoh isn't all about speed, it's about skill. For me, going a bit slower helps with processing the next step I have to take. And don't judge yourself of other better players, as it will only make you want to play the game less. This is coming from a mobile user who started off not so great, but I started to become better and I'm proud for how far I've come, and I used to get demotivated looking at pro players do so well.
Mario introduced me to gaming, so I literally just kept squishing my feet together to the music on the Tips Section. Also, this will help as a soon to be JToH player !(Account is too new, but I did get some practice in TC)
Yeah ofc but there area a lot of hard truss flicks in it that newer players struggle on, however if you get those down you should be able to do it no problem
Another tip is to have good internet (mostly for towers that have long play sessions). I was able to get to the very end of great displeasure but I got disconnected lol. I do think it’s a good tower to do as one of your 1st rem as most of the gameplay is like intense (sometimes more or less) where the difficulty comes from the length. But yea if your internet isn’t reliable try avoiding longer towers for your sanity.
About the thing with the “practicing strategy” I did that on SoUR there’s fallingplatforms then a slanted ladder and I always struggled on it bc i would go down instead of up but I realized I can flick and get up there and I did that and it worked and I was able to beat SoUR after a month.
thanks for the tips, recently just attempted to play the game. beated ToAST and ToA in half an hour so far but i heard the game is hard on mobile and i am on mobile, a little scary xd
ok so i can explain i beat togah in 185 minutes i wasnt having fun but what mattered was all the good thoughts but i did have one negative thought since i faield side c once i thought i would fail it again which also myfreind failed last floor hen i got to the jump he failed i got more stressed and almost fell with that stress, shaking, anxiety, shivering and more but u shouldnt give up if ur far and if u feel luck think of good things (btw i fluked the sc)
I already did half of ToKY before beating ToH so I think I should be fine if I don't ladder flick (cuz usually when i flick i sometimes get flung) . I also got to like floor 6 on ToS so I got pretty good progress.
I also recommend playing difficulty chart obby games. It’s good to improve your skill and go back to the easier parts and stuff. I have gotten to like the 7th difficulty of SDCO and a bunch of other games.
Hi, can you please give me advice on what to do next? I have done everything in Ring 1 except for Tower of Rage, Tower of Killjoys, Citadel of Laptop Splitting and Thanos Tower. I have only done Tower of Overcoming Hatred, Maybe A Tower and Tower of Cold Hands in Ring 2. I haven’t done TAT, ToAT, ToSI, ToWH, ToD, and ToLD in Ring 3. I have only done Tower of Linonophobia, Will Be A Tower, and Tower of Leaning Ledges in Ring 4. I have not unlocked any more Rings. I have done all the beginner towers, Tower of Peace, and Tower of Mirrored Hecc, in Zone 1. I have only done ToB, ToSA, ToUD, and ToTA in Zone 2. I have not unlocked anymore zones even though I have completed 13 towers in SS. I have also already completed over 22 Towers in TGI. In Arcane Area, I only have SoTC, SoMC, SoME, and ToIA left. In forgotten Ridge, I have completed ToJGF, SoMD, ToV, SoLW, and SoWP. So please, tell me what to do. Right now I am working on ToCO, ToPF, and SoME.
the only reason im skipping tor is because of floor 3, that huge ice tightrope makes it an absolute PAIN to grind, and dont forget the difficulty spike near the end of the floor im going for a second intense
My opinion on ToR is unpopular and pretty bad but imo ToR is easier than ToIE For me ToR Floors 2-3 and last floor just make it hard the other floors are somewhat kinda fun gameplay
I love these tips! It seems like you a lot of effort into them. The facts and psychological stuff was really interesting, I never thought about some of them.
In my past 2 secs (ToDT and ToTL) I have found that if you don't feel like playing a tower you are grinding, just don't. I probably went into the portal in like 6 days instead of the 2 weeks from starting the grind to finish. Although I do not know if this is just because i have more skill than consistency and I was much more capable of doing an SC in a time i want to.
if I were to continue the tower section into the extremes I would say start with ToTB or ToHH. ToTB is very short (about 15 minutes long) and can help you get used to client sided objects. ToHH on the other hand is literally an extended tiered obby. So yeah do which one suits you more for me it’s ToTB but that is most likely different for you And ToC.... n o
After badges (played the game and beat ToAST), only 20% of players done ToAST, also 20% of then beaten ToH (so 4% of all players) From ToM to ToH it's the biggest difficulty step (1.5 difficulty of gap), in my fangames I think about this problem
personally i feel like the player should get to around ring 5 to beat an sc tower, as someone who has played jtoh for two years and started as a beginner, i wasnt able to beat my first remorseless until around there. also, pushing yourself to beat a higher difficulty can lead to frustration which makes you get demotivated.
heres what i did: beat toast, toa, and tom, then go to forgotten ridge and beat alot of steeples and towers then in ring 2 beat 1 tower and go to garden of eeshöl and beat alot of steeples and then in ring 3 beat 1 tower then continue beating steeples in forgotten ridge and goe and then get to ring 4 and thats where i am
After struggling for weeks on ToSP I kinda just decided to give up obbying in general because grinding my ass off wasn't very fun, a few months later this video gets recommended to me and after watching this I'll probably go back to obbying since I feel like this might work.
as someone who has beaten ToDT, and a few rems (and other stuff) i have not had fun ONCE man that really sucked and negative thoughts + bad sleep schedule hhhhhhhh
honestly imo you shouldnt grind ring 1 all the way up to ToIE and ToS, you should stop grinding ring 1 around ToK or ToKY, then beat ToOH and ToCH, then do ToS and possibly ToSP, and boom! You have a break at ring 3!
you need to make sure the dco its actually well done tho i have seen a lot of obbies that have way to wasy remorseless sections of way too many easy levels and just 5 or 6 difficult+. also due to checkpoints you may become used to it and not be as attentive during towers
3:38 JtoH jumps cap at mid tier 10 and that’s only because of toer. Everything else is extremely easy so I would suggest that players do all jumps in harder tiered obbies to increase jump knowledge.

another tip that actually works: play a lot of dcos and they come back and try the tower you were struggling on.
I agree, thats why I said play games that arent jtoh so that includes dcos
you need to make sure the dco its actually well done tho i have seen a lot of obbies that have way to wasy remorseless sections of way too many easy levels and just 5 or 6 difficult+. also due to checkpoints you may become used to it and not be as attentive during towers
Also if there are any JToH newbies reading this I recommend knowing how Roblox physics work by playing the game.
I need a bit of help for the single challenging for ring 7, I have my plans for the intense.
The only thing In have trouble doing is always seemingly sliding off while wrapping around truss due to my rob ox physics luck
If that happens you arent aligned properly with the truss, you have to always be looking at it or else it will kick you off
