I AM GIVING THIS TRUCK AWAY:
bodevision.bigcartel.com/product/key-tag-slambox-1968-ford-f350-custom-build-giveaway
Looked waaaaaaaaaay better before 😢
I concur!!
I couldn’t agree more way better
Look skirted before. Loved the smaller rear wells also
In my opinion, which don’t mean much, you should have left the rear arches the way they were
To be honest, if you got two more front Ford fenders cut them to make them fit I think that you would have matching arches and it would look a hell of a lot better
second using the arches from other front fenders - probably even could pick up 2 patch panels
i just wrote the same and then read that you wrote this. i think that's the best way forward and they can't stay as they are...
I thought it looked a million times better before you messed with it, I’m not hating I just really liked it the way it was, it looked sick!
Looked better before more of a classic look. The last version makes the bed look like it’s too far back
Honestly, you probably should have just left it. Still love this build though. You could always find some front fenders and build new skirts with them. Then it would perfectly match the front fenders. 🤷♂️
But at the end of the day it's your truck and you have to be happy with it. 👍👍
I personally liked the original box wheel arches the best. The first rendition looked great. I feel the last one makes the arch too small. Either way I like the progress.
To be honest I liked it before you messed with it and out of the three I like the final iteration the least. I don’t know if it would work but what if you got a set of front fenders, cut the wheel opening out and grafted into that rear piece (assuming you want them the same)? But like I said I like the original, kinda had the fender skirt vibe. 🤷♂️ Regardless still love the truck!
good idea
The wheel opening looks better now that it's smaller but it doesn't look right you should center it to the wheel it looks like it's too far back.
Before with the crazy tuck is by far the best look for me
IMO it looked way way better before.
Whatever you like is obviously the best for living with if the others bothered you, but for me the very first unmodified box looked the best.
I really liked it as it was. Honestly you could just do new pieces there now and get that exact arch you're looking for. As mentioned in other comments. The arch isn't as extreme now, but the wheel is off center. Either way loving the build and can't wait to see more!
It looked better before. The new arch pulls the eye away from the rest of the bed.
bro, badass build! you should find another set of f1 front fenders and use the matching factory ford arch front and rear, you could carry that body line all the way back that way too! what your doing looks great though man!
The original looks the best in my opinion.
Looks to modern. Personally I preferred the OG wheel arch. Still a very cool build. 👍
i prefer the one before the last mod.
looked way more even i love it
Some years ago I bought a '92 F250....standard cab, utility bed, ladder rack (ex-City Public Works truck). I didn't pay much for it, and my original intent was to cut it up, slam it, and make it into a kind of a "Steampunk meets Mad Max" rat rod shop truck.....kinda like your project. After I fixed the mechanical stuff and got it running, I realized that it was a rust-free Arizona truck, had never been wrecked, and was just too damn pristine to start whackin' on it. Nine years later it's still my DD shop truck, still looks original, and has the perfect shop truck patina just as it is. I love what you're doing, and love your creativity. It's your project....do what you think is right....
Do what you want and think is correct. It's your project and no one else. You're truly blessed by the hands of God. Also you have great vision of what you want Your truck to look like. Great channel and content
Mr Bode, i like where you're going with this. Matching the height of the arches is a good move imo. But where i think it's going wrong is the shape of the rear arch compared to the front. My personal opinion is that they need to match. I.e how the rear of the front arch sweeps down and flows to the back and how the front of the front arch has a nice curve down and slightly forward. There's 2 options i can think of. 1: You get hold of 2 more front fenders, cut the arch out around about where the body line is, and attach it to a hinge on the utility bed. Or #2, you re-make that entire rear arch panel out of panel steel but template the arch to match the front arch. You can still put the beads into the arch with both options.
I reckon with doing 1 of those 2 options, it will tie in the truck cab with the utility bed a lot better, and the arches won't look so funky.
Raising the arch was definitely the move, I think adding 3.5" would have been perfect!
Bode, I wouldn't of worried about the rear arch, most if not all vehicles have a lower rear arch, but it's your build and you do what you think looks best.
Your idea was good, but i think if youre going to match the height you have to match the body line of the front fender. Keeping the current itteration I think looks bad, but might look fine once painted, always hard to tell on camera. The largest pet peeve i have is the fender arch looks to tall and skinny compared to the front because the bottom corners dont flare out with the same sweeping shape. Youre a badass man been here since you pained taylors car.

This is one you should have left alone. I much prefer it before but hey, your truck your rules!
It was a good choice to make the fenders match. I love watching how your mind works, coming up with all this fabrication. You definitely seem like a perfectionist, but that also means you put a lot of heart and passion into your projects. Getting done right is always better than saying meh, good enough.
I really enjoy how you change up the signature intro (starting at 1:12 in this video). I find myself skipping through those on other channels, but always look forward to the witty and unique slogan you add.
I’m curious what a solid panel would look like. I think I would have left it alone or started with another trailer fender just to use it’s shape and make a flare at the same time 🤷🏻♂️ you did inspire me to cut up my truck tho so thank you for that!
hey that sounds interesting flat panel on the back hide the wheel and just run the front arches.
Mixed emotions... "I liked it way better before than the end result"!! "Doesn't change my mind on HOW KOOL your channel is." Thank you for what you do"!!
I didn't realize it till you said it. It looks great now with matching tuck. Once you made me aware, I couldn't go back😂. The finer details makes all the difference. Impeccable work as usual
Hell yeah!!!! I love how you made it through progress....I am not into lowered trucks but you making a fan ...I just think it's sick looking truck
I vote for an old school two tone paint job.
I liked it the way it was originally. But I still will love the truck what ever you do. 😬
I think you should grab a pair of front Fenders. And use those arches to have matching arches. Either way stoked to see this coming together. Always pushing forward
x2
I would've left it alone. but its your truck, and is still awesome.
I liked the before. Helped make it look crazy slammed with the extreme tuck. As long as you could get the wheels on and off when jacked(which you could), I would've called it good. I understand the attempt though.
Looks way better, nice work!
Love it before I would of left it but at the end of day it's how you want it.
This auto fusion dope everything you have done on this channel is badass keep it up man
🤔 im not gonna lie the original was cooler but imma say it doesn't look bad at all but i bet with a paint job it would change alot of mines 😏👌🏽 overall the bulid is still badass either way 😎 #bodesqaud #projectshoptruck
Yeah, the 1st version was fire, triangles werent matching as you said, but standing back it looked even in the wheel well.
Regardless though, have grinder, have welder, can make it work.
Im just glad to see this project rolling on through.
Take a break Bode, go make MrsBode happy 😏
It was better original, now it doesn't look quit right the wheel is off center and makes it look a little funny but in the end its up to you if you like it or not. The work you do and they way you go about it is top notch! I'm ready to see how you to do the bed next. good job brother!
First pic I did love just tuckin , end result im still down with . But the great thing is you could always make a whole new solid panel from scratch . Looking forward to rollers of this on the road . Scrap plates for them roaster tails maybe 🤔🍻👊🏼
I like the original look tbh... You have to realize... That original look is just how those trucks looked when they were in... The new look definitely looks more custom but me personally I like the original! Keep up the great content... I really like seeing this type of content from your channel...
Before #1 (the second option) looked best to me personally but it’s your truck.
Love the build either way
I preferred as it was
Sunday morning video with coffee and the Slambox. Thanks Bode
You live and you learn. Liked it the og way but it looks good the way you reworked it.
Yeah final result looks great
That truck looks tough man
You’re doing everything 👍👍
I'm loving it. I hope you take it to power tour next year. You will Meet a group of good people...
I prefer the look before any modification to the rear well
Dude, I haven't seen your channel pop up in forever and it recommends me this- this is fucking unreal, I don't know how you don't have more subs!
I didn’t know it needed that, but it did. Looks sweet
I love it. It looks sleek and symmetrical. Might need to be buttoned up a bit, but i love this thing, it’s gonna look siiiick when it’s done. You should try and get some cool photos in front of like diners, or old gas stations or mechanic shops, that’d be a cool look.
Looks way cooler this way!
I think it does look better than before, but I think you over did it a tad with the version 3.0, the front triangle seems to be smaller now vs. that to the rear of the tyre. Looking forward to see how it all comes together though man, keep up the hard work!
Love this build and I didnt even realize the diff in fender height before. You really do a great job paying attention to detail. Keep up the great work!!
all the extra work looks amazing I say its totally worth it. Looking sexy SlamBox
I thought it looked fine before, then you re-did it & it looks even better. Funny how the little things have such a big impact! (I tell my wife that all the time)
That was a lot of work...but yeah both are great. Thank you for showing us the way. The amount that you can do with a shed. Unfathomable to us mortals... Nice work another great intro... 👍
Looks great bro… awesome work
Bro,well worth the time,looks so much better.still killin it..👍
Looks great either way brother 💯🤘
Wow, I am viewer #2. How's that for timing?? lol Love your content, painting Kyle's civic hooked me.
I am not sure why you feel that the front and the rear need to match in height.. I think of an old Caddy with wheel skirts.
Personally, i REALLY liked how it looked with the offset, and the massive tuck of the rear. The arch itself looked more natural in the original rendition IMO.
That being said, the more I think about it, I guess I can see where your thoughts were with this, but man.. I just loved that it tucked nuts!
I have loved everything you have done thus far though! I admire your skills, and your fearless attack of all the projects you take on. 💪😎
It’s the bumper hitting the driveway onto the lawn that does it for me🫦
*AWESOME* job on the rear arches though they blended awesome! I dig it🤙🏻 it looks way better! The tail lights are MONEY🔥
nah bro, it looks so good, keep doing what you're doing!
I think after the first modification you should have fitted that panel to the other side. Then it would have matched the front wheel arches which are closer to the tyre at the front and taper of at the rear of the tyre. Other option would be to get some front guards and modify them to fit. Loving this build, it looks great👍
I like the way it looked before you touched it a lot, but it's still OK.
Appreciate cha!💪😎. I like it, something I've always noticed on a lot of vehicles.👍👍🤘🤘
Love it ❤ looks great 👍🏼
Looking good bro!
all of your work is mint .
I prefer how it was before. It looks goofy now
That's straight Fire bro
Looks badass man
The massive tuck looks the best. The 2nd version of the raised wheel arch is better, but the wheel isn’t centered anymore n that bothers me a lot
Sick build bro!
When you pulled off the pad the cab and bed really flexed from one another. Don't think the car frame is beefy enough to handle that weight. Should probably bolt the cab and bed together to stiffen everything up. Great build, keep up the great content.
then the bed wouldn't be removable.
@@JustinFromThe206bolts are removable……
It’s looking good 👍👍
You should use that door as a template to build a whole new door that is not warped and you can make a nice consistant rolled edge around the wheel opening.
Personally I liked the one after the before pic, now you have moved the front of the arch back 4 inches it's made the wheel look off centre but it's all down to what you like Adam either way you do it, it will look fabulous👌🙏👍John UK.
I liked the original wheel opening only because it reminds me of the old 50s hot rods. But I still think the final product is great.
Seems to be the unpopular opinion but being a bumpside Ford fan I like it better after, it keeps the look of the original Ford body lines and the rear wheel well shape matches it almost perfect.
Is looking good bro 👍👍
Lola enjoyed that view 😅
Keep doing your thang
Everyone is gonna have their opinion. Ultimately, it’s your project. Me, I believe the last mod was waaaaay better than the middle. If it was my project, I’d match the front sweeping line to the rear.
That intro 🤣🔥😂🔥
I like how the build is coming along. I think it would be cool if you found a set of front fenders and weld those arches into the utility box. Then it would match front and rear and look great
Bro ur such a badass! Looks so good!
I think it looks bad ass either way. 💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sick bro 😮
I LOVE this autofusion project but yeah, the fenders looked so SICK and now... hmm. Honestly, if you haven't done the other side yet, I'd use it to copy the lines and just make a new fender that's just like the original. Doesn't get cooler than that. But congrats for the overall great project!
Personally I think it was worth the work, looks way better bro 🤘
Truck looks great reworked! Totally unrelated, I think you should have painted the underside of the soffits on your house black instead of the beige body color. Keep up the great work!
I liked the OG ones better, but you have to try new things to find out what looks best for you... it's your build! Still looks awesome
I like the original look. I just like the skirt look. But overall it look good either way.
The beginning looked the best. I'd have done some classic wheel skirts to fill in the opening, instead. 🤠 They might still improve on the look, anyway. 🤔
I liked the original look, but then again I used to own a 65 Ford f100 and the bed arches were a lot shorter than the front ones. But it's your project, do what you like.
The befor was the better look
