Great to hear Dottie is learning and settling in nicely with you! My wife and I just brought home 8 week old Doberman Pinscher boys (siblings). These guys are a handful!! As to your question about the 3D rendered instrument panels, I like the more complete unit it seams to be much more stable and less warping. I do hope that Paul will offer more choices like this in future for all applications, much more detail and less fiddling. Cheers mate 😊
When i was a kid , my friend and i used to go over the dump and look in the skips for cool stuff when the security were absent . One day i found this kit , built and painted and decaled but in box with wings separate. I bought it home and tried my hardest to glue the wings on but to no avail. I even tried superglue for the first time but NO . Gutted and it went in the bin after 10 plus attempt's . Im not sure 10 tonne apoxy would have butt joined them on . M Great build with some old school working out needed .
I would prefer all the knobs molded in place. When it comes to cockpits, price is usually no object. I'll pay more for postage. I hope he makes one for the F6F Hellcat soon!!!
@@NigelsModellingBench so the stuka will be binned or put in the too hard basket that new Aussie mk8 grey nurse Spitfire would make a nice replacement hint hint
I've had a look at the original '70's instructions and it shows a hole in the engine block for the part 81 pipe and also where 79 part goes..so Airfix must have ''Monkeyed'' around with the instructions at some point
As all the development work as been done - PE and resin knobs / switches. If Peter wishes to pursue full resin option the STL files have been created, why not offer both on an "print to order" basis - let the modeller decide based on how much they want to spend.
I have found that I am not a fan of PE, I purchased the Airscale set for my 1/24 Airfix Spit and I lost one small piece for the instrument panel and destroyed another trying to sand the tabs off the edge. Count me in for the 3D print.
Trust me mate it does get easier. I F Ed up a load on 1/35 but i used the spare bits on on fret and it all comes. But I do feel for you on the airscale especially for that particular kit, all the best 👍👌
Great work on those old plastic parts!
Hi Nigel, Have a great build.
Dotty is always welcome! We don’t deserve them ❤️

Garbage directions makes the build more challenging which I know you will overcome any issue.👍👏
Awesome video Nigel !👍🏻🍻🐶
YES!!! So Happy Your Back Brother, Hope You + Puppy Good, Quinta Studios Great, Have About 30 PE Sets To Unload Now😂 "DETROIT YANKEE"

Hi Nigel,
My preference to the panel is the extra detailed 3d print rather than the photo etched part.
The way this build is going I can see something like Spitfire Sunday coming to NMB in the next week or two
You're a mind reader Sam.

No, not yet at least.

Built the Stuka when it was first issued, almost 50 years ago. Well detailed for the era, including figures in 1/24th scale.
Evening, is this a one episode of a playlist build? Just wondering......
No playlist for this as yet I'm afraid.
I'd like to buy the files to print at home, thus saving on postage and less rubbish involved in the packaging.
Good to see Dottie is settling in well. I would buy the 3d printed dash panel with the switches attached.
To super detail or not, that's the question. What are you building the Stuka for?

Nigel, are the god hand cutter worth twenty cans of Stella?
50 cans more like.
I'm afraid the details being crushed during clamping.3D control panal
If posting packaging pricing was a problem why not just sell the files for the 3D panel
3D download please
Wow, it use to be you added details by skill and scratch building, now it's just down to the size of your wallet
