Jeep Liberty 2011 oil change DIY

How to change the oil in a 2011 Jeep Liberty, 3.7L.
Supplies: plastic bags, rags, 1/2" socket wrench, 5w-20 synthetic (or conventional) oil, fram (or your choice) oil filter, funnel, cardboard/wood to place under vehicle.
To reset oil filter indicator after changing the oil: turn ignition to full "on" position but do not start. Fully press and release gas pedal 3 times within 30 seconds. Turn ignition to off position.
