You can add an extender/retarder to slow down the drying time of acrylic, making it easier to blend. If you want to use the impasto technique, add a structure gel or thickener. These additions will make acrylic more like oil and will smooth your transition from oil to acrylic 💕

I don’t know what I am doing wrong…but yours looks neat, As weird as it sounds, mine looks like a poor imitation copy of a Jackson Pollock piece.

It was as close to three D as you can get in abstract. I love the up and down motion and the effect it gives. A most natural movement for a painter.
