It’s so weird to me that Clavel isn’t considered a champion level trainer in game. It’s clear from his battle that he’s got what it takes to beat the elite four. The only explanation that I can think of is that he hasn’t bothered doing the gym challenge.
Yeah, my guess is that the team he has is, for him, more of a hobby. Considering how dedicated Clavell is to his job, he probably just doesn't see it as important to attain that Champion rank. Plus, he already knows how good he is, and that's likely enough for him.
@@Persoon56 Plus, what would getting the champion rank even do for him? All we know is that it's a title only the strongest trainers have but there has to be some benefit to earning the rank, right?
I still don’t like the champion rank thing, it dumb….but the game is still good! I feel like they should have pulled a blue and nemona beat her and become champion but that just my opinion.

Clavel was one of the few battles i needed a second try for in this game. The rest due to my habit of exploring i ended up curb stomping everyone.

You can teach any egg move by having a pokemon with that move in a picnic by having the pokemon that needs to get the move hold a mirror herb and have an empty move slot.
That's how my shiny Delphox knows hypnosis, she learned it from my shiny Gardevoir
Yeah I made a physical attacking Hypno and needed Psycho Cut, so I had him get it from my Ceruledge. I knew it worked when I found the Charcadet egg.
@@MortalOrder The pokemon giving another an egg move doesn't even need to be capable of breeding with it. I have my Bascalibur icicle spear from a Cloyster

That's how I got the Teddiursa I initially bred for a Quick Feed Ursaring build retrofitted so it could be a Raid slaying Guts Ursaluna.
Clavell whooped my butt the first time I fought him. But now that you mention him being one of the strongest in Paldea, it shows that he's a humble man; never once does he brag about or abuse his strength.
I don't know why you're spreading such rumors and making people believe that Clive is actually Clavell

Actually the egg move rules in this game mean that any pokemon that learns Dreameater by levelup can effectively teach it to Oranguru with the help of a mirror herb. Just have the pokemon that knows dreameater in your party with a oranguru holding a mirror herb that has 3 or fewer moves known and it'll learn the move when you have a picnic. Some other pokemon are like this, like how Maril can only get bellydrum from Hyriama, a pokemon not even in it's egg group.
Really wish the game would've told me this instead of "sandwiches are delicious, yum yum"
@@VaskoGames yeah it’s one of those mechanics the game just doesn’t advertise at all. At the very least some kinda egg move tutor or something should have been implemented, this is way too esoteric
@VaskoGames Yeah, i ended up looking it up because i saw it was possible to get belly drum on azumarill for raids and did research on serebii when mine didnt naturally learn it.

that makes sense, uva academy ( I play POKÉMON violet ) has students from around the world, not just PALDEA. I got the cat, because cats are cute. the starmobiles are a miss understanding. bullying is just emotions. emotions arn’t a problem, they guide us, they are wise. GEETA is underrated. that was outside of school actions, it doesn’t count, but the stealing school supplies, thats fine, also what’s illegal about a giant car?

Tbh, Wooloo verse Part 2 might end up cooler if you had used the psychic gym leads large span of money to fund a project rose has created to send you back in time to paldea, this way u could kinda say something like the rift was made from ur entrance into this dimension and that u must discover yourself again to return home.
Small note about egg moves; You can give it to a Pokemon even if the pokemon giving it the egg move isn't in its egg group; Example; Cloyster being able to give Icicle spear to Bascalibur
Makes sense that Clive would have the duck, but in my game he has the fire starter because I chose Sprigatito
Dumbledore here is what Bart Simpson would call a "non-giving-up school guy."
You can actually give egg moves without breeding for it. First you take the pokemon who you want to learn a egg move and delete 1 of its moves and you give the held item mirror herb. Then you get a pokemon who has the move and then you go have a picnic. This works with any pokemon an example you want your azumarill to learn belly drum but only have iron hands with the move well this actually works. This way even shiny pokemon you catch can have egg moves.
Very random comment, sorry, just wanted to say thank you for this series of videos. The creativity with the Wooloo-verse has been highly entertainly and I I found myself on a rewatch multiple times. This series is fast becoming one of my favourites too.
Dunno what it is about them, but when having a bad day I can count on your videos to help me out a bit, figured you would like to know that.

You actually would have been fine going to the Tagtree Thicket, since you can't get another Team Star cutscene if you've already activated one and haven't beaten the base yet.

not sure why, but your version of clive the game's hair options give with those glasses makes you seem like lewis from meet the robinsons
You don’t actually need to breed for egg moves, if Oranguru has an open move slot and is holding the Mirror Herb while ANY Pokémon that knows Dream Eater (so Gengar or Hypno, etc…) is in the party, you just open a picnic and then close it. Boom, Oranguru knows Dream Eater now.

Houndoom was able to bring the doom. Taking a Low Kick but later incinerating the competition.
Later spill the Tea. Later the Sus student with amoonguss win it out with abomasnow.
With buff up stats and move combo can really change a battle. 860 power is impressive.
Instead of Reflecting, with him more active role trying to take down the Team Star. It is Nasty Plot..
It really makes you how much of a newbie Chive is, With experience like Chavell oranguru’s Dream Easter from Alola could have made thing easier.

i know im not the first one to say this but if you use a mirror herb with a pokemon that has the egg move you want with a pokemon that has one move slot missing you can get the move with that

By the way I have an interesting idea just in case you want it to do it eventually:
Can Pia become the champion? You know, that gym challenger npc that you speculated in a previous video as potentially being the fourth gym challenger that made it to the champion cup and battled againts Hop in Sword and Shield.
You can even make a series with all the gym challengers since you can actually see the pokemon that they use in their teams since they all appear as trainers you can battle in the champion title defense battles and try to create their stories with the few lines they have and give them an arc related to the npcs they resemble (as if they were related) and to the other gym challengers too. I´ve seen your previous videos and your stories for the characters are all pretty creative and in line with their characters. So this could be a fun idea to try as well. And just to make it more fun, they´re also allowed to dynamax their aces.
I'm calling it, in wooloo-verse season 2 Vasko will be a Mareep I mean he said Iono would be first and it makes sense to start as a sheep both times.

I feel kinda stupid for asking, but what would happen if you used a move like Roar or Whirlwind to switch out the gym leader's Pokémon and defeat the one they're supposed to Terastalize at the end, leaving one they weren't supposed to use the gimmick on as their last Pokémon?
Clive/clovel always takes the the Pokémon who doesn’t get chosen by the player nor Nemona
It’s weird that Nemona and Arven never mention how the school has an entirely new faculty this year. Its the player’s first year, but not their’s. You’d think Nemona would’ve mentioned that she’s been at the school longer than the staff.

just started watching and if you had used a mirrior herb, an open move slot you can teach it dream eater. Using physic though as a work around though is smart. i do hope this comment helps for future videos though

better than I did in my playthru of Scarlet, started with fire, and then got the Titans, Crab, Bird, Worm, Paradox, Sushi (it was rough battles against the gyms/team star) catching the former titan pokemon (ones with titan mark) it wasn't easy battles but I probably didn't have them at their best
edit: (gym order was: bug, grass, electric, water, normal, ice, ghost, psychic, team star: fire, dark, posion, fairy, fighting)

Hope the docs figure out what's wrong quickly and good treatment is found on the first try!(I was lucky in being diagnosed quick with my mental health issues when I was young and finding most of my meds on the first try...but many of my friends and family were not that lucky on either department. I have friends who are struggling to even get tested for something literally all their friends who have it go "...those symptoms sound eerily familiar you should get tested for this" Thankfully the new doctor agrees. The old one...did not...despite it literally explaining all their issues if they have it. So may your doctors be good ones, diagnosis and treatment be swift and easy.) I recently found the channel through my recommends and just swept through the Wooloo Verse and the four sword and shield videos in the past couple of days. Seriously your content is amazing and I went and threw the Wooloo-verse playlist at all of my friends who are into Pokemon because the story is WONDERFUL.

Also because I'm a crazy person my decision to play Scarlet or Violet partly hinged on what color Clavell and the academy building's pokeball dome looked best in (I think they both look better in red) but I ultimately chose Violet because I hated Koraidon's design so much, the future Paradox Pokemon are cooler and I really wanted to use Ceruledge.
Idea for a later video… can you beat Pokémon SV as Mr. Saquaro
So if you have a Pokémon who knows dream eater and Orangoru holding a Mirror Herb in your party when you start a picnic Orangoru will learn the egg move without needing to breed with that Pokémon. I was able to find this out when looking up how to teach my Staraptor double edge.

Alfornada is the only town in the game where you actively have to step into the Pokémon center radius in order to register its fly point. For some reason it is far enough away from the town to not count.

FYI: You can use a Mirror Herb to teach Oranguru Dream Eater. Video is done at this point but you can teach any pokemon an egg move by giving it a Mirror Herb then making it forget a move. You then picnic and mess around a bit while a pokemon that knows the egg move is in the same party.
For future runs: Using a mirror herb you can pass any egg move from any Pokemon, in the same egggroup or not, to another pokemon. You just have to enter piknik for a microsecond and make sure the pokemon has a free moveslot. I suggest looking up the details

The fact that Clavell was friends with the professor is very underrated. In a scenario like this, he would have been fighting essentially the lingering will of someone he once highly valued, now beyond anything he can help. I do wonder why the AI didn't ask him for help but considering that they implied they were unable to contact Arven directly, and hadn't spoken to Clavell until it came time to ask YOU for help, they may have massive limitations in their programming that prevent them from reaching out to people the professor knew.

I'm highly curious on how the professors will beat the game. I was thinking about them using the non paradox versions of their team to beat the game, but I'm still itching to see your take on it.
I mean... kind of the only way you'd be able to play as the professors. The Paradoxes are end game catches that can't breed and are like 50-60 in level. It would basically be impossible to do their actual teams, especially since not all of them I think spawn until you beat the professor of your game anyways
@@caiusdrakegaming8087I meant like the pokemon the paradox mons were based on. Like Iron moth/slither wing replaced by Volcorona, roaring moon with Salamence, etc.
@@warpstarrogue3554 I know, I was just saying using the non-Paradox versions would be the ONLY way to play as the professors. Well except for the Iron Treads and Great Tusk, since they're also catchable Titans. I do have to say though, Turo's team would be the stronger one. Tyrannitar, Hydreigon, Gallade/Gardevoir, Hariyama, Volcarona, and Delibird. Delibird would be the only weak pokemon on the team, the rest can kick ass ten ways t Sunday on their own. On the flip side, Sada would have Salamance, Magneton, Jigglypuff, Misdreavus, Amoongus, and Volcarona. Volcarona and Salamance are the only strong ones on the team, with Jigglypuff being miles weaker than even Delibird. Hell, Turo would just need two pokemon minimum to sweep Sada's team. Hariyama or Delibird with an Ice attack to one-shot Salamance, and then use Tyrannitar with EQ, Iron Tail, Crunch, and a Rock move to wipe out the rest.

From the starting cutscene I think Nemona would pick Fuecoco, so Clavell/Clive would have Sprigatito since he always has the starter weak to hers.

What you should do is have the Psychic-type Gym Leader do the playthrough (Tulip being the amazing Psychic-type Gym Leader) and have her team be the same as her team.
22:17 and it terastalises and gets nothing from doing so because it used a fighting type move

im sure you know this by now but you dont have to breed new pokemon to pass on egg moves in this game. just have en empty slot on the one you want to know it, have it in your party with the other one who knows said move, have the recipient hold a mirror herb, open picnic, close picnic, and your oranguru would have yawn ready to go instnatly
You can have Pokémon teach each other egg moves like in swsh but they don’t need to share a egg group so Oranguru can have dream eater
