Takes me back. Grew up in the shadow of Hampden and was lucky enough to know someone close to the club and was going to the games since the 1980's (afore I moved to the other side of the world). I remember the Eddie Hunter era and asking board types about going Pro then - even though I was a kid - and from the replies then I never thought it would happen. Back then I'd go and watch The Strollers too, that was the nickname of the QP reserve team! All the players and coaches would say that Lesser Hampden always had the better playing surface, but the main games were always 300 to 400 folks in big Hampden. Now though, well now the chance of what I thought was impossible may come true - my other team that wears Hoops - I never thought I'd see the day that they might again play in the same league - loyalties will be torn that day.
Amazing vid tom, genuinely. I stopped going to the games because of the lack of atmosphere in hamden but if they moved to Lesser hamden I'd definitely give it another shot.

I didn't realise Queens Park played there games at Hampden Park. I only found out by watching someone do a stadium tour of the ground.
Yea its cool isn't it. I do think Hampden is a poor stadium in general for watching football however
