    Finally a video that makes a Krell patch understandable...and doable. Thanks very much for making it clear!

    WoW! This is awesome. I’ve been building my own synthesiser over the last couple of years. I’ve just recently found out about the Krell patch and want to have a go myself, but wasn’t sure how to go about it or which modules I’d need to build. This has been massively helpful. 👍
    A looping envelope is next on my list to build.

    Man, what an awesome patch and well explained! I rebuild it with Maths and a quantizer and it generates absolute gorgeous noise :) Thanks for the video!

    Wonderful stuff Robin, this has inspired me to have a go myself.
    Maybe use that Cockerel for a random source!

      I know it's kinda off topic but do anybody know of a good site to watch newly released series online?

    I am also working on a new one. I learned that the Berons made their stuff themselves from scratch and recorded it before it broke down or burned out. So I am now looking for a patch that dies out like a life algorithm. Already love the research :)

    Good stuff... I've just been trying to follow this and do it with a Befaco VC ADSR, no EOC output but it has gate outputs for each stage which I assume is pretty similar and you can whack modulation into each point of the ADSR.

    I want go build a small krell system like yours
    What other modules are being used above out of view ie oscillators output etc
    Thanks and output etc
    I love these krell sounds

      @@MoltenMusicTech yes Thanks is all your using out of shot a oscillator and anything else ? Oh I’ve no need for quantiser thingie Bob
      Thanks

      From the 3:44 mark I say that I'm using the Ona Oscillator, that's from Nano Modules, but any sound source will do. The rest is on the screen and I'm not using the filter or joystick, just the VCO, VCA, looped envelopes, random source and LFO (i think).

    I have a question Robin ... how did you get that rooster sound??? Is there a module in your kit for that?

    • @MoltenMusicTech
      @MoltenMusicTech  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's just something that eminates from my soul. I can't contain it.

  • @generalawareness101

    Seems there are no plugins for a DAW that has that magical EOC. VCVRack has it, but, then again, it is software emulating a Eurorack so it isn't a DAW. I found one VST that has everything needed except for EOC, and it is called AALTO. It even had a looping envelope.

  • @surrogatemarker

    Excellent patch tutorial.. However I don’t remember a crowing rooster as representative of the noises advanced alien machines made in the movie Forbidden planet..

  • @sidefish8362
    @sidefish8362 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I was wondering what that noise was coming from outside and it was your cockerel .. a testament to the fidelity of your microphone I guess.

    Just curious: When you plug into quantizer, What do you find is your favorite scale to use?

    • @MoltenMusicTech
      @MoltenMusicTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I usually put in a few white notes. I discovered in making this video after using the uscale for a couple of years that the top note is a B and not a C and so explains the unintended maj7 sort of sound. I don’t really give it much thought 😁

    • @Safefragrance
      @Safefragrance 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      My fave trick on having just acquired the uscale is to go to bank and put in harmonic minor and change the root note to whatever :)
