Such a cool location for a festival! Would love to visit that area next time I’m in Japan! I’ve had wild boar before and it wasn’t so bad. Not sure what the other animal is though but sounded like deer? Some wild game is too gamey for my tastes.
You Gotta Get Into Sausages and Hot Dogs When You're in the Burger Bros Off-season. I'm Surprised The sausage Didn't have a dipping sauce to go with it. Looked Good!
Those all look tasty. To build on the chocolate flavor, I'm going to add a splash of strong espresso & dark cocoa on the next batch of brownies. In Hawaii, boar could be made into all kinds of dishes or sausages from the melting pot of cultures on the Islands. Most visitors/ tourists expect it would be simply seasoned & cooked in an underground Emu -- to be served as Kailua Pork (pulled pork). Mahalo!!👋😁
@CriticalEatsJapan made several batches brownies: 1) standard recipe with regular cocoa powder, 2) same recipe substitute with dark cocoa powder, 3) same recipe substitute with dark cocoa powder + shot of brewed espresso (1 oz, room temp). Batches baked together, so same temperature & bake time. Taste test order: recipe 1 good chocolate flavor, recipe 2 better chocolate flavor, recipe 3 more enhanced chocolate flavor. Next time, going to do the same taste test on chocolate cake (without frosting).😎👍
Wild boar. That's a new word for me. I thought it was wild pig. Thank you. That deer sausage sounds good. Because I ate small pieces of deer steak in this kind of festivaland and it was not good. Perhaps they are boiled and grilled lightly.
Wild boars should be clean, they don’t live in filthy pig pens and they don’t eat stuff in trash cans. they live off the land, foraging and maybe hunting
3:12 you guys crossed swords
En garde!

This was not a BOAR-ING video for sure thanks for trying those for us
🤣
Oh, deer...
Paul with multiple funnies!!! LOLOLOL 🤣
In Canada, You can not sell wild game unless it is farmed
I guess safety first. Here it is quite common to see a food truck offering this sort of thing.
Thanks for sharing
Looks like a fun festival to attend. Would love to taste that wild boar sausage.
There were several areas, each with a different vibe.
Thanks for the share. Have a great weekend
Thanks for watching!

Yeah, I've had some gamy deer before so was glad to have the boar ;)
Hello and good morning from Germany!
Good morning!
From the smooth texture on the sides of the brownie, I thought it looked like a giant piece of fudge. 😅
At first I thought it was burnt ;)

That's kinda what I have been doing ---not really a whole series, but just raising a little wiener awareness ;)
Another great festival! Love the unique meats👍😊
Interesting festival. Havent tried boar before... Cake looked good
Very cool

I think you just ruined it for me with the espresso... ;)

I think they are kinda interchangeable. I did have some good footage of the cooking process, but my sd card was corrupt and erased it all... :(
Raw Sausage Quest with Aaron. Sidequest: Search for a Moist Brownie. A new food adventure series?
It seems we have a slightly different idea about what makes a good brownie ;)
Haven't tried wild boar either. Not sure if you said, but was it just sausage links they were selling. Always liked the festivals
Yeah, I think so

I had a Wild Boar Bolognese one time, and I remember it being awesome! I just thought it tasted like "beefier pork"
Sounds interesting. Glad it tasted good!

There were a few different areas at this festival so there will be a few more videos coming soon ;)
