The Surfrajettes are a highly enjoyable and globally significant band. Not only to Torontonians or to Canadians or to surf rock followers but to ALL people of good taste worldwide.
I was there! Just off camera, but right up by the stage. They sounded great! Having seen them a couple times before, I can confidently say that Samantha's drumming has elevated the group.

Sarah plays a stand up bass, and has a killer voice as well. Would be a cool distraction. I dont hear any lack in the drum area either. The new drummer is great. Has a bit of "Animal" in her from the Muppets.
All told there must be 2 -3 hundred. Matt Groupie's from December 2015 is the first and there's about 4-5 complete gigs including the 2020 Winter Holiday that's unlisted. Seek & ye shalt find.
The Surfrajettes are my absolute favorite! They are the band who inspired me to get into playing electric guitar after 30 years of being an acoustic country singer. I got a Tagima TW530 and named her Shermy!
That's Samantha Maloney, of _Hole,_ and _Motley Crue_ fame. 😂 She IS great, but almost certainly has had the most "exposure" of any member of this band.
I enjoy guitar instrumentals so I liked their presentations. Being from the 1960's and 1970's era I certainly like the short dresses and the go go boots, took me right back to that time frame. These ladies aren't as young as one might think.
That's nice of you to promote their tour for them! I feel like we are starting to see the results of you raising your review prices/doing more video you just want to do. I think it fits your vibe better, and if you are making the same money... Win win! Keep it up!

Notice the hot Rod Deville amps sitting behind both guitarist! Can anyone argue how good these amps sound with the sound that they are getting on stage in a live setting!? As good as these amps sound, I would even give a slight edge to the blues deluxe reissue… Just my own personal experience owning both of these amps. Just my opinion, fender got it right with the circuits in both of these amps as they both present a very fat well-rounded sound/tone. These young ladies are very talented and I’m sure they will enjoy success for a long time!
You don't have to tell me about the Surfagettes. I'm already a big fan. I saw them back in April at viva Las Vegas 25. I met them there and they signed my LP. They are 14 kinds of awesome and Sarah Butler is nice on the eyes.
Have to admit I wasn’t expecting the Peer Gynt stuff, but that was a very cool transcription and performance! I’ve seen at least a couple of the Surfrajettes’ videos and thought they were fantastic. And they sound even better live!
Shermy & Nicole talk about their guitars on their website or youtube channel. When they tour, they don't bring their amps. They use whatever amps are provided.

I always seek band approval before making any video public. I was not able to contact them to approve the videos. Eventually someone from Hi Tide approved them. Surfrajettes are not easy to contact. If you can make direct contact, you are better than I am.
