I absolutely fucking love that line! I think I might've actually finished Prophets sentence before him the first time I played this.
I love Prophets character too. He's fantastic all around. And his lines are so meaningful and badass.
I felt like a God playing prophet at times during the campaign.
@@Nothing-of2pm Yep. Great Character. The only problem I have with him is that he doesn't honor Alcatraz once in the whole game. And then uses his corpse to re-create his own body... Pretty disrespectful honestly.
At least he saved the world tho XD
@@Vengeful_James Technically speaking, Alcatraz was at Death's door practically the entire game, Prophet honored him by letting him fight for a bit longer, but both of them knew that even with the Nanosuit MK2 he wouldn't last much longer.
@@danielm.595crisis legion also further explains what happened Alcatraz what was left part of the suit was pretty much just a ghost and right before the to shake hands and part prophet wakes up in a graveyard in front of Alcatraz father's grave Stone and the last words of the Marine to prophet were hey call me Alcatraz Remember me😢

alpha ceph lost the moment he failed to one shot prophet with the bloody drill attack
Gave up on the game because fo that os attack, and the weapon bug (i enter the arena with a ceph gatling gun, need to drop it then take it back for it to work, can't pick up the rocket launcher in less than 30 seconds and if you make the mistake of hitting twice the take button you get double animation of pickign up, losing every time 20 seconds just for a fuckign pick up with the boss hammering his face in the ground... pissed me off.

I won’t say this was one of the hardest bosses to fight, but I have to say this is one of the best FPS trilogy games you’ll ever find. The story, the game play, gun play, mechanics, it’s all so amazing. And to think that a lot of FPS games today don’t even compare…. Truly insane. I’d recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun FPS game and a great story!!!

When I first played the boss was a pain because I neglected both ceph weapons and superchargers and only used human stuff. The game penalizes you for not thinking outside the box, the supercharger basically gives you infinite ammo without reload, also invulnerability against projectiles. All you have to do is activate them during the fight, shoot everything and avoid the claw attacks, that's it. I'm embarrassed for struggling so much.
Don't be. That fight was definitely the low point of the game for me...not that I didn't scratch myself a few times before, but during that...
i found it easier just to use the seph mortar and overcharge the suit, worked wonders
Highkey wanna see the Locust Riftworm from the Gears of War games try to fight this Alpha Ceph from Crysis 3. 🤩 or the whole Locust Horde vs. the Ceph Army.
The cephs will be a great match for the flood from halo since both antagonists are talkative and clever hiveminds that invaded everywhere plus with addiction of possessing protagonists who have exo suits as their skin/shell to fight them
I’m pretty sure the Riftworm was 3 times bigger than the Alpha Ceph.

@@gunnarredford8261 I got both those Games on Xbox 360. Love the Multiplayer. Yeah, I like seeing What-If-Battles where the little guy outwits the Big Guy or the “Not-So-Powerful” Army still manages to beat the “Ultra-Powerful” Army. In this case, I like would like to see if the Alpha Ceph uses it’s Intelligence on defeating the Riftworm.

Biggest pain in the ass boss fight I’ve ever seen. You get one shotted by the drill, your armor sucks and the turrets don’t kill the numerous enemies fast enough.
you can find a PAC mortar lying around, you can use heavy armor upgrades to tank the shots while you stand next to a battery for basically infinite ammo

I gave up after like 8 tries. It's a ridiculously glitchy and all over the place fight.

It took me two days to complete the game
Way to kill the first boss by shooting and dodging, there will be two times when the boss will pull you electro magnetic field. The last one will kill it.
The last boss you have to kill by blowing out the arms only when it charges its forearm turn red/orange like fire. But you have wait by blowing one by one😊😊
I wish that they continue the game crysis 4 but the twist is, they are now the one attacking the seph. planet.. Who knows. ahahaha

Cool little detail, at 9:00 he, despite seeming to just make one precise jump, steers with his suit accelerators to change trajectory. They were also used by Nomad in Crysis for Zero G navigation

Man I cant wait to playthrough this game again! First game i olayed in the series. And thanks to the remasters I played 1, and just beat 2; have to redo three missions for super soldier.
But man 3 was such a climax to this series.

the ceph are only a single alien species, and as seen here they are not much more advanced than us so they likely haven't successfully invaded any other planet

The Ceph we encounter are the spearheads (C1 step one, C2 and 3 step two). If the local resistance is able to put up a fight, step three of colonisation is put into effect: bringing in the warrior caste from their home galaxy, which are battle hardened for half a billion years and would make mince meat of any opposition. We don't even know how they look like, only sharing their DNA genetics with the Earth Ceph.
This is all described in Crysis 3 intel and the Crysis fandom wiki.
@@TheDelta14 This might be the plot for Crysis 4 because in Crysis 3 Prophet just delayed the stage 3 colonization event by killing the Alpha Ceph and shutting down the wormhole by destroying the mothership by archangel. There is a teaser breakdown made by Pyton&Selkan for Crysis 4 and I'm thinking that he might be right. A NANOSUIT 3.0 will be the final version of the suit to counter stage 3 enemy event that will take place.
There are ceph capable of crushing all the Earth forces, but they are all located in M33 Triangulum and probably not able to reach our planet without wormholes, which can only be opened if there is someone sentient like Alpha Ceph present on tunnel's exit point (probably)
@@seneryy Yep because the Alpha Ceph is a walking Nuclear Reactor capable of generating a wormhole through their own homeworld galaxy. He is the most powerful ceph on earth.
