Hello, good job for this build 👍🏻 this brushless system looks to work well. Do it has a good torque at low speed and a much more speed compared to a brush system (400rpm for example)? What do you thing about the reversed transfer case ? Is it a real plus ? Thank you for your answer.
hey buddy, the brushless setup is wonderful. wayyyyy better than the brushed. great torque at slow speeds. And as for the reverse gearbox. its not vital but really eliminates body torque.
@@mikesmancave5505 hi, thank you for your answer. I just received a brushless combo with 1:10 ratio. Can’t wait to test it. I am going to order a reverse gearbox for my nest build. 👍🏻
Hi there, great video, really enjoyed it. Loads of questions. Any chance of a closer look at how you mounted that servo? Is the ESC waterproof? How have you mounted the body without the bumpers? Where/how did you mount that lead? Where can you get that gear box and is it feasible to adapt it to fit without a milling machine (I have a Dremel??)?
@@MongrelRC that is a lot of questions 😆. Firstly, i cut the mounts off the servo and literally glued it to the chassis rails. I wouldn’t want to say it is waterproof, but wouldn’t be hard to make it waterproof I guess. The body is mounted with magnets that are stuck on the body and stick to the chassis rails. I’ve just found a gearbox set that will work without modifying it🫣 a.aliexpress.com/_mNbWcDW I’m waiting on a new body to turn up any day now. So hopefully there’ll soon be another video soon 😉
Awesome video. I was just looking at that motor to put in the Scania.
Only reason I didn’t was due to wanting sound and lights. Best of luck with the build buddy it’s a tough build 😅
What is that body from? I have a few jimnys and it'd be cool to re-create one in miniature form. Great video👍
Look up 1/32 jimny Tamiya on AliExpress or eBay. Think I’m gonna order another for a shelf queen body. Thanks for watching buddy 😎

Let me know how the 1:10 ratio goes gonna be a quick one.
