That train horn at the outro!! Oh my lanta ... That just sealed this video for me. I would love if you would consider making a playlist of the music you and Taylor listen to when at home. Transports me to my childhood with my mother. Thank you for another great vid!
Wow, baby Otto is getting so big! Pawpaws fascinate me. I know they can grow this far north, but I never found any. Our local Audubon Society has set up a walking trail where they have planted some. I’m going to have to check them out! Another interesting video my frien.
I found your channel from watching RR. I enjoy watching such a relaxing video. God has blessed you with a wonderful family and beautiful area to live in.
Peel the pawpaws with a ceramic peeler by Kyocera. I peeled very soft peaches with mine effortlessly, it would work great on the pawpaws also, and it is a fast process. I love your videos...
Good Day , Graced u r! Good looking scoby. Can't tell if u r using cheesecloth on top of ferments. Eye stopped using cheesecloth and went to linen or fine woven cotton, (good pillow case). Can make a diff. Well be.
@@HoneybeeHollowGardens all i do is eye ball it......i just do scraps, sugar, water, stir everyday week 1, after a month lovely vinegar. My prach vinegar was a slime jar. Hoping it unslimes or no more peach vinegar here....lol
@@CynBay symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast....that makes a rubbery thick growth on top of kombucha. With each kombucha batch a new scoby grows. I compost my extra or give to friends to start their own kombucha. Fascinatingly gross fermentation life!
Good morning, Wil! Long time, no comment! It's the Bermuda grass lady! Do you freeze the papaw pulp? Is there a way to preserve it? I wonder if it can be freeze dried... your garden looks beautiful. I know you're enjoying that little guy! Have a fantastic day!
GM, it’s in the fridge for now, we made ice cream out of it and that was good. We’re going to try a few flavors I’ll show on the next video. Whatever you do, be careful cooking papaws they can make you sick
@@HoneybeeHollowGardens thanks for the advice on cooking them! I was hoping to find some, this year. It's been a chore getting my gardens and yard completed and organized. I didn't get as much done as I wanted to. Good news! For the most part, my experiment of a comfrey border did stop most Bermuda in the test patch. I still have to grab a runner or 2, every now and again but sheet mulching with newspaper and mushroom compost, and a border of comfrey crowns has exceeded my expectations!
I used to have a pear tree with pears shaped similar to the pears in your video. What kind of pear is that? I have been looking for a pear tree like my old one, but I haven't been able to find one. Thanks for the help.
Glad to see Miss Cleo and baby Otto of course. Thank you for sharing. Love your videos.
I love it when you put all the pumpkins by your fireplace, it looks cozy!
They’ll migrate to the hallway soon as the cold nights set in 😁
I like this format. Lots of beauty in nature, bountiful harvest, and less talking. Wonderful!
Glad you enjoy it!
❤ Great video - very peaceful and love seeing your young family preparing the harvests - Thank you for chance to learn while relaxing watching! 😊
The land there is so green and beautiful. Thank you for sharing. ❤

We listen to a lot of Nemo’s dreamscapes on TH-cam. Sometimes you’ll here vaporwave or Lofi as well

Beautiful and so peaceful
Really enjoy your videos. I was a bit surprised to see that cactus!
Yeah that stuff grows great here
Thank you!
Pawpaw bread is so good. Just used up my last year's pulp I froze
Taylor made papaw bread last year but ate too much at once & got sick
I prefer dried green peas with a ham hock for soup. But I use the ham for other stuff too.
You dehydrate them in a regular dehydrator?

I’ll look into that, thank you. Glad you enjoy
Peaceful and relaxing video as always, thank you!
Loved the video. What does pawpaw taste like?
Like a mango & a banana had a baby, usually sweeter though

Yes it’s cheesecloth, why does it make a difference? Thought it’s just for keeping flies out
🙏🙏🙏...por favor...habilita los subtitulos...❤❤❤
Huh they should be enabled , sorry about that. I’ll turn it on when I get back to my laptop
Pear vinegar is my fav!!!!! Never tried starting it with a scoby. 😊
I’ve never made it myself, hope I used enough sugar I kinda just eyeballed it
What is Scoby?

Do u have to rehydrate the mushrooms before cooking with them?
Yes usually in red/white wine or some sort of wine vinegar , depends on what I’m cooking
