I tell you honestly this may be the first time I was able to watch from start to finish. Dusan, your talent is simply amazing. Trying to guess what it as as it unfolds sparks my imagination to no end. Seeing splotches of green become beautiful trees right before my eyes is astonishing. And the detail additional leaves toward the end makes me wonder "how does he see that?" Stunning sir. Once again Dusan, you have made this old man smile, and I am forever grateful sir. Cool. It may sound counter intuitive but painting this size is actually harder because you don't have much space. If you're having a crack at it for the first time then a little bigger might be more freeing. Canvas or board the size of 12 x 16 inch to 16 x 20 inch would be perfect. Much bigger then that and you have new issues to deal with.
Awesome work besides paint n technic patients , camera editing I’m yet to see where colors come from n .also how thick are these paint’s acrylic or oil … thank you make an old mans mind WonDerr
There’s that Fellow Dusan off again Doing his Painting by Numbers with his Tiny Bricklayers Trowel😂😂 But of course the Truth is at Some point His oils become something we never imagined yet Dusan I’m sure has the Opinion of “The Picture Was There all the Time he just moved the Paint Around To Reveal what he Saw🙏🙏🙏 we still care about his Ears though😜Both of them👍

The white stretched canvas that is commonly available is primed, then I coat it again with two coats of acrylic paint. This seals it further, helps stop the oil from seeping into the fabric. Once that base coat is dry I start with just oil paint.

I use oil paint from the tube, mixed into colors I need. No medium.

Other than the oil paint itself, nothing. I don't use additional mediums or solvents.
