2024 UEC MTB Youth European Championships in Huskvarna

- During the week, around 800 young MTB cyclists from all over Europe gathered at Huskvarnaberget to compete for the prestigious podium positions in the Youth European Championships in mountain biking.
This year’s major highlight for young MTB cyclists offered competitions in XTT (individual time trial), XCR (relay), XCC (short track), and XCO (Olympic distance).
The week has featured world-class courses, technical sections, adrenaline, lactic acid, fighting spirit, and a fantastic atmosphere. It’s incredibly gratifying to hear nothing but praise for both Jönköping and Huskvarna as locations, and top marks for IKHP as a venue.
A big thank you to all participants, officials, relatives, and the audience. Thanks to IKHP Huskvarna as the local organizer, and to UEC and the Swedish Cycling Federation for the opportunity.
Now the countdown begins for next year, when Jönköping will once again host the Youth European Championships in mountain biking, this time with Hallbyskogen as the venue and Hallby SOK as the organizer.

Under veckan har runt 800 unga MTB-cyklister från hela Europa samlats på Huskvarnaberget för att göra upp om de prestigefyllda pallplaceringarna i Ungdoms-EM i mountainbike.
Årets stora höjdpunkt för unga MTB-cyklister - har bjudit på tävlingar inom XTT (individuellt tempo), XCR (stafett), XCC (shorttrack) och XCO (olympisk distans)
Veckan har bjudit på banor i världsklass, tekniska sekvenser, adrenalin, mjölksyra, kämparglöd och en fantastisk stämning. Det är otroligt roligt att höra idel lovord om både Jönköping och Huskvarna som plats men även allra högsta betyg om IKHP som arena.
Stort tack till alla deltagare, funktionärer, anhöriga och publik. Tack IKHP Huskvarna som lokal arrangör. och till UEC och svenska cykelförbundet för möjligheten.
Nu börjar nedräkningen till nästa år då Jönköping åter står som värdkommun för Ungdoms-EM i mountainbike. Då med Hallbyskogen som arena och Hallby SOK som arrangör.
