And I love the contrast between 5:34 when Robin puts his arm around Marian and kisses the top of her head, and when Guy did the same thing earlier in the episode. Guy immediately followed it by trying to use Marian's grief to his own advantage. For Robin, it is really all about comforting Marian.

Aw, I miss this show. It's first two seasons were SO good. Season 3 had a few good episodes but it just was never the same with Marian.
God I love Jonas Armstrong so much.

Love it how Guys all talking to her about the future marriage and tries to kiss rape her and take advatage of her fragile state...
But Robin justs Hugs her and comforts her the right way and doesnt talkt to her at all when all she wants to do is cry he whisked her off her feet like her prince charming and you can tell she immediately feels better :')
Agreed. Pretty sure she's only 20 when she did this episode, well around there. Thats pure talent.

Oh dear, Guy...he does have his good romantic moments, but this isn't... at all... poor thing, certainly 'forever alone'.
And of course poor Marian, I thought this is the most emotion and vulnerability she ever really shown.
Robin doesn't try to kiss her lips as Gisbourne tried to do ! He just kiss her hand to comfort her, gently....

Robin is well better for Marian than Guy. 2:47 - 3:00 thats just inappropriate and ruthless!!! she had lost her Father and he will kiss her?? thats make me sour. 3:32 - 4:22 that's right and Sweet. so you should do it. can be a bit considerate expect well (and Sorry if my English not so good im from Germany and I'm just beginning to learn English but i Believe you understand what i mean) :)

The thing is Marian didn't need romance which apparently Guy couldn't understand. She needed to be held. Like Robin understood. Although the forehead kiss was good that always comforts a woman. But Gosh Guy. I can't even vouch for that. Normally I stand up for Guy but good grief.

This is so sad... Robin, and Marian, and Guy... it's too much. ;~; This is a good example of what I was talking to someone else about concerning Guy, he's completely incapable of normal human interactions because of the life he's led... it's such a gut wrenching, disturbing and sad moment to watch... Also, my props to the actors here, especially Marian, good lord.
However, the ending is SO PRICELESS! LMAO! xD And completely inappropriate for what just happened.... but can't help laughing. lol

Wow, Lucy Griffiths is really an incredibly impressive actress. She was only 20/21 during the filming of this season. She's really incredible. I only wish she'd kept the brown hair!!!! This is a fantastic episode. Next episode is better - I hate it when Marian goes back to the castle. Guy is a selfish pig, I can't stand him.

See, if the Sheriff had any sense he'd be able to tell who Marian escaped with. The arrow fletching (feathery bit) is only striped on Robin's arrows. The ones belonging to the sherrif are black, and the ones made by villagers tend to be white.
Marian is a fool to go with Robin to the Forest. She should have stayed with Guy who truly loves her despite the danger and trouble that she always brings to his door. Besides he is more handsome than Robin!
Well... at least Guy said, "There was no witnesses" rather than "It was Hood!" When Marian asked what happened...
Poor Guy... And Marian. :,(

IMNSHO, Robin and Marian are partially responsible for Edward's death. Marian was a witch to her father in this episode. And poor Guy, he was trying SO HARD, the only way he knew how.
