I maybe mistaken but not a single bolt was torqued up to spec old valves put back in old piston put back in nothing new on or in motor just a very quick clean and reassemble.

Many many parts are out of work, but you don't replaced or fixed. I don't think it's restoration, it's just cleaning.

With this engine....it's pure clean inside...and it's only sand mixed with black oil... on top. .and Red Soil ...

There was nothing wrong with this engine. Could have used an oil flush and cleaning before they buried it in mud to make it look bad. This vid is only used to gather views.

i like restoration, i'am use citric acid for fast clean restoration,

At least pressure wash it before tearing the engine, and didn't even cover every hole before painting it.. jezz

Do any of these “restorers” ever clean engine before disassembly. A pressure washer would be so much better than scraping the dirt with a knife.
