"f'd with a knife?" I think you're thinking of Den of Vipers 😂
Haha right!! I was like that is a YA book.. they would never get away with that hahaha
wasn’t that haunting adeline as well 🤭
its so expensive to be wealthy pleaseeeeeeeeee ily
I was just starting to binge all your old videos once again to get my weekly Jordaline fix so perfect timing 😭❤
Girl. Cozy mystery, you need to try Dixie Lyle and her WTF series. I've never read something so creative and entertaining! Short description, it follows the assistant to an eccentric millionaire who lives in a mansion and throws dinner parties with celebrity guests. The property also houses the largest pet cemetery in the country. Our protagonist helps solve mysteries on the property with her ghost cat and shape-shifting dog that speak to her telepathically.
Jordaline: “speaking of British people.....” my British ass: 🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
I just found you and your hysterical 😂 here for the horror stayed for you 🤍
Also John Gwynne is amazing!
I'm OBSESSED with the Kim Possible two-toned lipstick!!!
THE EMPTY SHELVESSSS 😱
I really love the way you talk, Jordaline. I don't read that much horror but I watch your videos for the vibe. 🤭 I wonder if you have plans to narrate an audiobook? I'm sure you'd be great at it!
18:07 - Jordaline, you're such an icon for saying that! Thank you for not being silent on this matter ❤
I’m currently reading Before the Devil Breaks You and I 100% recommend you continue with the series. They keep getting better
😂😂 I actually pinky promised you😂😂😂
i loved these silent woods 😔
I don’t think you’d love Little Fires Everywhere but I could be wrong. Also I’m here for the In My Dreams I Hold a Knife slander 😂 I absolutely hated that book and everyone raves about it
Such a pretty smile was so good & unhinged!!! Don’t get rid of it!
We're getting a bookcase organization video....right? 😌 Love you 😘
I loved Killers of a Certain Age! Definitely recommend!
Gillian Flynn is in publishing, so getting other people's books published. 😢
A Touch of Jen is amazing 😂 ignore the haters
I'm now picturing you reading this YA Shakespeare retelling, waiting for a knife sex scene 🤣🤣 you're thinking of Den of Vipers. Honestly, you doing a reading vlog of Den of Vipers... iconic
These Silent Woods was 5 stars for me and made me cry, but that might just be me 😅
Me too!!!
Third-ing this! 5 stars and emotional.
It was my favorite book I've read in years. It was so under appreciated. ☹️
Same!
I vote to keep Little Eve, I thought it was really good!
As I fellow Canadian, I'm always curious about what you do with the books you don't want. I wish we had a Pango for used books.
yes, dont you dare get rid of the age of madness books xD that trilogy is perfection heh
These Silent Woods is an all time favorite
I think you should keep Such A Pretty Smile. I believe you'd really enjoy it😊
I’m reading when we lost our heads right now and I LOVE IT it’s definitely got some awesome sapphic vibes toxic friendships murderous girlie vibes.
I LOVED These silent woods I say keep 😂
15:39 Keep it! I loved it.
I only just got around to reading Little Fires Everywhere in January and I really enjoyed it. I also read Everything I Never Told You last year and I was obsessed.
I thought Killers of a Certain Age was really fun! It was a quick read, and I passed it onto a friend who enjoyed it. It’s giving baddie Helen Mirren/Judi Dench on a retirement (from being assassins) cruise but throw in a revenge plot, a murder plot?? and a maybe not so retirement ending?? 🧐 😁
I LOVED CRIMSON PETAL!!
I need your Spotify playlist
I don’t know if you would like Miracle Creek by Angie Kim, but it is such a well done book! Her writing is stunning and the story is interesting and messy as hell!
The burner and the groomer were both excellent reads!! Yaasss
The Ex Hex was cute 🤣
The Book that wouldn't 🔥 was great
Im 3/4 way through Killers of a Certian Age and i find it entertaining. I dont know maybe my mind will change when im finished but im enjoying it.
I read Victories Greater Than Death b/c you showed it in one of your videos, and I honestly became obsessed with the whole series last summer!
It's a space opera where a group of strangers have to join forces and save the universe together, all while becoming a family along the way, and it perfectly scratched my sci-fi itch. Lots of queer rep and the main character is in a sapphic relationship! Really enjoyed it, although I will say the first book is probably the weakest in the trilogy imho.
If you like it, you should consider the author's other book, The City in the Middle of the Night. :)
a cozy YA contemporary i just finished was 'she drives me crazy' by kelly quinden. YA tropes have been pissing me off but this was a nice reprieve.
My favorite cozy mystery is the Miss Fortune series by Jana DeLeon.
The Three Dahlias is a good cozy mystery
The number of books still on my shelves because I'm too lazy to untab them. I need to just unhaul all my fantasy series but there are so many tabs.
“The Family Plot” was pretty good
Ohh The Crimson Petal and the White is AMAZING! These violent delights is wack though
Hey you should keep the "Reckless Oaths We Made" Its really good. Love, Tiff
Hi Jordaline! ❤️😘
A cozy mystery I can think of is Shady Hollow, but I also feel like you've mentioned not liking that book before 🤔 I don't have much experience with cozy mysteries.
I completely support keeping many fantasy series you have yet to start, that is how I also live my life surrounded by unread fantasy series! Also I haven’t read red sister or whatever but prince of thorns by mark Lawrence was - for me - one of the worst books I ever read. It’s written from the POV of thee most edgelord twelve year old, I couldn’t take a single moment of it seriously. But some people nut over that series so idk!! Just my two cents
Keeping has now become a nonsense word to my brain... 😂
Cozy Mystery Rec: Shady Hollow, The Tainted Cup (with some stakes but cozy vibes imo), The God and the Gumiho (I don't think this one is technically a mystery but it's a detective story so to me that's mystery enough 😅)
Please keep these silent woods it was an fantastic reads bestie
It's one of my absolute favorite books I've read in the past couple years. It does not get the appreciation it deserves. ☹️
Another great book Un-Haul video! 📚🥤🦇💀😈
I think the book that someone gets f with a knife was Den of Vipers
Gillian Flynn said she's working on a new book last year! I gave These Silent Woods 5⭐️, it's a slow-burn mystery that me cry 🥹
You should read(listen) the audiobook version of Ayoade on Top, ideally on a plane
What is this chokehold that John Gwynn has on everyone?! This is the fourth video I’ve watched this week gushing over his works.
Do i need to hop on this band wagon?
If so, where does one start?
Haven't read Crimson and Petal White by Faber, but his book "Under the Skin" is creepy and weird. You might like it.
Greetings from England ❤
Regarding SJM... Also look into when she promoted her book off the back of Breonna Taylor's murder... If you don't know about that already
Silence of the Girls reads more like HF than a mythology retelling. If you're not in a HF mood, I'd say 'free the space on your shelf for something you'll LOVE"
These Silent Woods was fine but nothing that important to keep in my opinion.
Killers of a Certain Age - run, don't walk to get her back cuz she's a 5⭐️ !!!!
The Marlow Murder Club is a gun cozy mystery series.
Killers of a Certain Age is okay, kind of ridiculous
Killers of a certain age, same vibes as Thursday murder club 💯 keep
yasss another video from my favorite misogynist
For real, I'd keep all of the 1s you kept too. Just for vibes. 👍 Not quite an unhaul video 🤣 More of a justification for keeping.
Bryn greenwood 💯 keep
LOVE her books
No, I don't think it's bad. You will eventually read these books. Doesn't matter when.
First book is titled “Night WAKing” rather than “Night WALKing.” I don’t mind but the author might.
Really enjoyed seeing your big variety of books. Before I saw this video I thought you read horror exclusively.❤
How do I find your patreon? Thanks
Who's the artist that sings that intro song to this video?
I'm the lone weirdo who 'a touch of jen' really itched a scratch for. a super odd and uncomfortable read, but it worked for me
The French Girl was Horrible, I remember you hauled it and talk about it so I got the book becuase it sounded up my alley but it sucked 😭 🫣
🌹🖤🌹🖤🌹🖤🌹🖤🌹🖤🌹
Nooo, not Such a Pretty Smile! Especially if you enjoy fantasy..it’s not fantasy or supernatural or magical realism, but it also is all of them, like I don’t know how to explain it, it is just not a typical thriller/mystery at all. I’d say with how beautiful the book reads and the symbolism of the story it’s more horror. That author did not get the praise she so deserved for that book!
I gave killers if a certain age 2 stars
Can someone tell me who Tiffany is? 😂
We are Tiffany (jordaline's audience) 😂 📚
@@cynthiakrysak4461 okay cool, I wasn’t sure if this was some sort of John & Hank Green scenario happening 😂
@@cynthiakrysak4461Lol, what is the backstory behind this?? 😅 I'm new here.
@autumnrose_noseinabook just wait til you hear about Jeremy 😂😂
@@pandarama816 Oh boy 😅 I’ve been subscribed for a couple years I think but I go through periods of not watching TH-cam for a while and then back to watching again, so I haven’t watched every single one of her videos.
SJM spoke about going to Israel and her grandmother being in the military.. I couldn't find more but for me it was sketchy enough and while she is not her grandmother, she didn't take position since.
I mean if you don't take position, you said it in a silence way and it means the genocide of the palestianians isn't worth your time. So for me she is a zionist... Like any other celebrity, author etc that didn't speak up.
As long as you don’t get rid of John Dies at the End, then do what ye will. Pls read. The series is unhinged in the best horror-comedy way.
I DNFed These Silent Woods bc I heard it has some Christian themes, which being a filthy heathen I am not about lmao
It has Christian themes but the main character doesn't abide by them lol, it's more a background thing. It was my favorite book I've read in years, and I'm the very opposite of religious lol.
I'm a NEW SUBSCRIBER. ... and I really enjoy your book 📚 reviews. FYI I've SUBSCRIBED TWICE to your channel under second account I have, 😝😝... BTW, I'm also a BookTuber,. GiGi The Reader... 😊.. My favorite genre is fantasy, but I might try a few horror books. The best horror/mystery I ever read was City of Brass. It was spooky fun... here's to spooky horror and fantasy 🍄🔮🪄👑🧞♀️🧞♂️🧞🧚🏽♂️🧚🏾♀️🧜🏾♀️🧜🏿♂️🧘🏽♀️🦄🦄......🧙🏽♂️🧛🏾♂️⚰️🪦🧝🏽♀️🧝🏽♀️🍷🍷🍷
