- Are your budgies breeding too much? In this video I discuss ways on how to prevent it. Of course, it's something you'd rather not think much about, but sometimes there's no avoiding it. If budgies don't stop breeding, unfortunately you sometimes need to stop them. At least, that's what happened to us with Micky and Mini.

This video is so related..my budgie pairs laying eggs almost once in a month for 4 months and produced 6 babies overall.. So i want to rest them by removing nestbox that and that also didn't worked out(budgie laid egg in the millet box and babies born succesfully) 😄😊

I think one of the most important things for breeding is that the female finds a male that she really likes and that she has a strong bond with. And of course there should be a good nest as well 😊
Another thing I noticed is that they are more interested in mating when you feed plenty of greens (like lettuce, grass, dandelion etc). I've also read that hemp seeds can encourage breeding. Maybe I can make a video about this topic one day 😊
