    This is how you do a sound demo, right on the spot. Would love to see the ikko oh10 in there.
    Keep this good stuff, thanks.

    Cool comparison .
    S12 vs OH10 would be great . Also if Hana can be thrown in , that would be the top 3 in the biggest and most interesting IEM price bracket .

    Bought both. Enjoy both immensely. They each deliver a unique experience with exceptional performance/price (value). Before taking a decision to invest beyond my previous price limit ($80), I had bought the T3+, Heart Mirror, TKZK Wave, KZ CRN, Lea, CCA CRA, CCA NRA, KZ ZS10 Pro.
    Today, I still use both the T3+, Heart Mirror (modded with a Y4/2.5mm filter at vent closest to nozzle base) and the TKZK Wave (modded with addition of a 5mm filter at the nozzle screen). Each of these is a really solid purchase (very competitive) in my opinion at their respective price point.
    However, both the S12 and Olina are at a different level. The S12 is so damn versatile, given its ability to both EQ easily as well as improve with more power. The Olina is exquisite, though I did mod with an extra nozzle filter (it comes with replacement sets from the factory). I suppose that if I had to only buy one, I would go for the S12; a tough call and highly subjective IMHO. In terms of better price/performance value...the Olina.

      I'm still saving for t3 plus 💪🏾🙈

    • @soumyajit92
      @soumyajit92 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      have the t3 plus and blon, had the fh3 last year sold it. Currently looking for something portable to substitue my hifiman sundara soundwise. If you have any experience with sundara how would you say they compare? or even t3 plus since u have it? I dont mind eq at all, use it with sundara all the time and planars take it like a champ, especially the bass section gets godlike after eq with sundara.

      @jb678901 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@soumyajit92 A neutral planar headphone is a tall order, in terms of soundstage provided by Sundara. Here, in my view and under the limits of my personal experience, the S12. Technically it's close, soundstage...better than T3+ by substantial margin but still lagging open-back planar. EQ-ability...definitely. Drivability...very easy to drive, though it really shines with a decent portable DAC. I am using either BTR5 or a dongle DAC (CS Pro Audio CS43131 DSD256) when on the go.

      @@jb678901 soundstage yes i understand ... won't be possible but other aspects, technicalities, slam dynamics resolution etc, etc. I have the zen stack and the abigail for portable use, ll probably get something better for portable use. I find the t3 severely lacking in resolution, bass texture, and overly smoothed out treble.

    • @jb678901
      @jb678901 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@soumyajit92 As already mentioned, both S12 and Olina are at a higher level of performance than T3+. In terms of portability & performance & technical details/resolution...S12 would be my choice. That and a decent portable DAC like..Qudelix 5K..BTR 5 (2021)...etc. With a good EQ the base on S12 is exceptional.

    olina = the lead singer and lead guitar always want the volume at max and the drummer is autodidact, so he always hit the snare and cymbal in max spirit, always right but erratic in kind a way
    s12 = the lead singer and lead guitar always want balance volume with the whole band & the drummer is graduate from music school he is so... so.. calm and very neat

      @@polesaudio9230 a question, can i use the s12 on pc, without having to use dac or amplifier? Although on the PC, in one of the settings (decrease the differences in ear perceptions, or something like that, I don't remember right), when activated, I notice a big increase in volume on the headphones that I use.
      And as for the high/mid highs of both the s12 and the Olina, are they too loud to be bothersome or are they not fatiguing?
