  • Follow along through Dietrich's intensive sessions with Nancy R. Kaufman, MA, CCC-SLP as he makes amazing progress using the Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol.
The K-SLP is an evidenced-based evaluation and treatment method for childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) and those who struggle to speak due to other speech motor conditions.
Progress with the K-SLP methods is often due to the team effort between Nancy, the child's SLP team, parents, family members, and caregivers…as well as the child's own hard work!
Nancy R. Kaufman, is a speech-language pathologist, renowned expert in CAS, and the owner/director of the Kaufman Children’s Center for Speech, Language, Sensory-Motor & Autism Treatments in West Bloomfield, Michigan.

My daughter is 2.5 and has Apraxia. It’s been so rough for my wife and I not being able to hear her talk. But watching this journey gives us hope.

My son has just been diagnosed a few months ago. He is so intelligent it makes me sad some days he can't articulate himself the way he wants to. The journey is long and you need to be committed. Consistency is key. They will strive with the right support

My son used to get so frustrated when we couldn't understand him.. he's not 11 years old and his speech therapists say he no longer needs therapy .. u can't even tell he ever had speech aproxia .. the speech therapy worked wonders and his hard work paid off

I was watching a video of this therapist that says they have devices that they put in the child’s mouth to help them make the right sounds and make their mouths make the right movements for speech.
    It’s amazing. I think it’s called Kaufman.

This gives me such hope for my grandson. He does not speak and is 3 years old. He is just starting to make some sounds. He does go to speech therapy so I am being very hopeful.
