The amount of ingenuity that went into this design is insane. Every single HGXIV video has left me mind-blown. Thank you for breaking things down so we can use these ideas in our own homes
I know you probably have other projects but I was hoping you could explain in detail how you made that window, it's superb. I've been trying to recreate it but Idk what I'm doing wrong, the lighting from the actual window doesn't show properly from behind the white screen.
This is an amazing build, and I think you really nailed the industrial warehouse loft look. The attention to details like the way you hide lighting to create mood, use beds and phasmas to control camera clipping, and the way you can see the potential in the items we're given to combine them into amazing new things are what sets your builds apart. Your sheer dedication to floating complex constructs and your willingness to spend 40 million gil on Flagstone Lofts are what put you into the mad genius category the rest of us can only aspire to. 😂
ok I know this is old now but I love these builds. what is it you used for the little potted plants in the corner of your window, and what is that tiny white flower pot on your wall going up the stairs? ^_^
The potted plants in the corner are from the Apothecary's Workbench. And the white flower on the wall leading up the stairs is the White Arum. It's in the pot belonging to the Candlelit Sundries.
I turned them sideways and just barely let the bulb show at the top. You'll still notice a tiny bit of star might poke out at the bottom so I'd often hide it with some additional texture underneath like with a cabinet or something
This might be way way too late, but you could - instead of using like X amount of brick wall parts, you could of used a blank, glade or w/e partition and put on the brick wall paper, save yourself like 7 or 10 slots with just one big brick thing instead of a bunch, and also could add more flag stones adding more choppy cement in different places - anyways food for thought.
I did try similar looks with the flat brick texture from brick counters/partitions but I needed something like the brick interior wall because it had a lot of texture and depth. I was able to use that texture and hide it in the rough stone created from the flagstone loft. The partitions were just too flat and didn't look right for what I wanted!
You must have amazing closets Jay! This is a realistic build. So is your suggestion. Thats the beauty of the housing community - you get all different types of builds! As soon as you start adding more detail (which costs slots) you have to compromise elsewhere. 95% of the time thats going to be space. We're excited for the slot increase in 7.X but even then, people are going to, and should, build whats makes them happy!

Amazing build and it looks great but my goodness thats a lot of slots! I figured this was a medium until I saw 400 slots used haha.
You're a genius holy shit. I aint a housing enthusiast but the builds people make always amazes me. Good job on this one!

I am amazed by this, fanominal work.
Love the use of the flagstone lofts for texture! This is simply amazing -- though over a billion gil??
Those windows are stunning!
Amazing build!
MORE BREAK IT DOWNS!!!!! I’m in love!!!
Well done as always 🙂

What a gem! Thank you so much for showing, Im so inspired! Looks amazing
hi Ashen, for the heavenly ornaments how did you hide the moon and stars? i am having trouble showing only the bulbs!

While I didn't spend yyour 40mil, I did spend an unconscionable amount on those lofts for my crumbling ruins! XD
*claps* Yes! Totally worth it! 🤣
Oh my god that so much Gil, I love the look but your poor wallet!
how about a realistic build...like..an apartment using the apartment item count. not 400 for a room the size of a closet...
