Thank you so much for these videos! They’ve been so much help. One question: how did you create the ceiling?! I’ve always trouble creating them. The camera always goes through and it looks glitchy
My pleasure, I like doing these and I’m happy to know you find them useful ^^ For the ceilings, you can use various items such as flooring mats, troupe stage, wooden lofts, rugs and so on, but if you want to prevent the camera from showing what’s behind them you will need to use what we used to call the « bed meta » and float an eastern pond slightly higher than your ceiling (we used beds for that purpose before, hence the name!). The surface that will be covered is the same surface occupied by the pond. I hope it makes sense, feel free to ask if it doesn’t and I’ll try to explain myself better ^^
@@seimiyak.3548thanks so much! I have one last question haha. Is it preferred to put the ceiling first or the Asian style walls first and then the ceiling last?
@@HKobeni No matter the style of your house, it is usually preferable to do the walls, then the ceiling (so the items for the ceiling don’t bother you for the walls and don’t clip on the furnishings you place afterwards).
I apologize for the late answer. I do not have such a video on my channel, but you can find other glitches tutorials on TH-cam very easily. If you want my pick though, I would recommend you watch this one (th-cam.com/video/HF9EZSDvc-U/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Ijjwnp5LQdnJ9xd-). I find it easy to understand, and it covers all the basic glitches. This looks beautiful. In the first part of the video it looks like the floor is raised as well to the edge of the bathtub level, is that done with lofts or tables? Or is the tub raised from the basement? I love the effect.
Thank you ^^ Yes, the first part is from a build I did before this video (Chiisana Ryokan is the name). I did raised the floor to the level of the edge of the bathtub. I used the top of Glade Partitions for the wood effect, but since we can't walk on them, I placed Wooden Lofts bellow it ^^ I hope this was helpful, feel free to let me know you have other questions !
I used 1 Amezaiku Set for the surface and 2 wood slat partitions as the foot for the whole shelf. Hope this helps ! (Btw, sorry for the late answer, I just saw your comment).
Hey Seimiya, just wondering if the door function is usable? Everything went well for a test try but i cant seem to push the wooden slats too far back into the wall. I could only hide 2 beams into the wall, and then the door would be too far to be able to press the exit button. I can see Exit but its not clickable 😭
Hey ! It is supposed to function, unless you put another type of partition behind those Wood Slats instead of a Rectangular Partition (you can't interact with items hidden behind some partitions, but Rectangular Partitions work). If you want, you can send me pictures of your test run through DM on discord and I'll see what might have gone wrong ! It is kind of difficult to just visualize it with only words ^^
