Been listening to Jeremy and Keith (best duo ever) for many years. They have been instrumental to my career and my endless desire to never ever stop learning. Wish one day I can meet them personally.
I just started a new position yesterday. This is literally the first task that I was assigned; we have +20 domains that I will need to configure this with DMARC and audit. I just spent the day reading many sources and none had as clear a instructions and steps as you did. I am so glad you put this out today!
i took my baby steps in Cisco with Jeremy , now i am looking for Jeremy's trainings again for AWS .... whenever i want to learn technology , he is my goto.. but why can i not find AWS videos from J
He is back? Your back now? LOL, i mean no update in months to about a year and all a sudden a new video out of the blue without explaining what happened? Well good your back Jeremy, dont get me wrong. Hope all is alright and we can expect regular new vids :D
For instance a newsletter company like Mailchimp. Or your cloud HR services, that would like to send e-mails to your employees on behalf of your company. Your Billing software that is a cloud services and wants to sends invoices to your customers with an e-mail address with your company domainname. Ect.
Let's say you run a business but haven't got a clue how to send bulk emails out then you might contact a 3rd party (vendor) to do it for you. You would still want the emails to look like they come from you and not the vendors own domain.
Best IT trainer in the world. Jeremey is the reason I chose networking as a career

Love you Jeremy
DMARC is a bit of journey really due to the discovery nature of the process. You can’t rush DMARC to reject policy.

Could someone explain what he meant by “vendors sending email from your domain”? Wouldnt the vendors use their own domain to send emails to you?
