Great podcast. I know it's in the context of basketball height, but I found it intriguing how people think Marcus Smart is short when he's taller than Gary Payton and the same height as Jrue Holliday. He was also defending Embiid BETTER than Bam was... and as a really tall person myself I find it annoying that taller, LESSER and DUMBER defenders like Rudy Gobert can win multiple DPOY while being a COMPLETE liability outside ONE job of paint protection (couldn't switch or guard on the perimeter) whereas Marcus was guarding everyone everywhere in different schemes. Blitz at the nail, post-ups, at the rim, denying post entry passes, stealing in the passing lanes, charges, isolation, you name it. Gobert can't and will never be able to do that, and Bam can ONLY do that when he has Spoelstra coaching him and has teammates digging. He got absolutely embarassed by Porzingis for the entire season, whereas Marcus who is a literal foot shorter than KP defended him beautifully
