interesting to see how melody learns to cope with death, will she close off her heart while those around try to stop it? Or will she eventually learn to accept that death happens and no one can truly stop it?
I do hope that the curse is only a legend that came from the minds of someone who was paranoid and not actual truth, but considering this is a fantasy series it could very well be true.
