So so enjoyable! Love listening to the water slapping against the boat. It’s a tremendous mixture of a water sounds, bridges and sunlight dancing on the water. I’ve been sitting here stitching away with Lily and Molly curled up snoring their furry heads off. This channel is a brilliant idea. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. Hugs❤️
although I adore your normal format. I am loving this too. Please continue to make these and your normal videos. They help me calm my world. Thank you for my second piece of zen in the week. I owe you fellas a pint.
For this one, I choosed the 9th of Beethoven. Water playing between silences, this gorgious sun going slowing down, ducks playing around... Yhank you Connor for this piece of pure happyness.
I am chrome casting this through the TV and the children are silent as they sit and watch this its amazing. Please keep these types of videos coming. We are in our summer hodays here in NZ so the children are home all day. So it's like going on a boat trip but staying home at the same time.
I didn't think I'd like videos without the commentary but I was so wrong. This is what drew me to narrowboats in the first place, that calm and quiet travel through the English countryside. Well done guys.
Absolutely love all the noises. The water, the police sirens, everything. Thank you so much for creating these videos for us! It helps me to decompress after work🙂
I loved this. Hearing the sounds and occasionally catching a bit of your voices just as one would riding along. Makes a person feel they are with you in a day to day experience. Wonderful!
What a pleasure ! Thank you for this experience... I did put some music I love, your images on my sreen, and paradise was there. I'll show you one day the french canals the same way. Just for the pleasure of taking time to float on a canal on a river. Thank you.
What an amazing journey, the River Thames at its best, really enjoyed watching, especially the sounds of the river, thanks for sharing this trip 🌟💚 Nicola
Thank you so much for making great videos. Its helped me relax especially if I've had a stressful day or just need to take my mind of things . Take care guys x 🐕❤
Amazing. We've cruised (not on the Thames and in a hire boat) a couple of times over the years, so I have done this real time. Cuppa or glass in my hand yep a great experience. Will have to watch in 30 mins at a time though - busy time of the year. Merry Christmas you 3 have a lovely break. Jocelyn. NZ.
I think the current, coupled with the lower than "usual" camera location makes it seem like the boat is going fast. Based on the trees passing and the walker at about 36 minutes keeping pace, the actual speed is less than 5mph. I love the peaceful aspect of the voyage! Like I'm able to relax on the boat as it goes on its voyage. Great channel!!!
I love the water and the ducks! I am still Foxes Afloat fan though. You two / three have made me want …. No need to do a narrow boat holiday tour the next time I can get back to the UK. Please have a Great, Safe and Fun Xmas from us here in New Zealand!!
Arrgh! Starting when you were approaching the eye both husband and I got a bit seasick. Tidal indeed! When was this? Guessing last year during lockdown? Excellent footage, my darlings. 💖💖💖🌵
Love Foxes Afloat! This is absolutely wonderful!! Just a quick question... have you sped the video up? Going so fast I am sitting in my chair getting a bit motion sick. LOL
@3:20:20 This is the fourth place where I see they are building a rectangle in the river on the left bank. Now I am curious what these constructions are for. Any idea?
So how do you store all these real time videos? I remember you showing us a cabinet full of them on discs? I can’t imagine having an unending cloud storage for all your real time videos or do you? Also how do you record your dialogue during the trip as you travel and not have the bow camera and microphone pick it up? Occasionally I could hear some voices from the stern but for most of the video I could only hear the water lapping. What is your speed on this particular section of the Thames?
@@BritainByNarrowboat No not on another channel. You are my favs and I thought there was something in one of the Foxes Afloat vlogs in which you mentioned how much footage you have and that was one of the reasons you wer starting the new You Tube channel How do you keep all the film footage stored?

Absolutely love the Thames river by narrowboat. Shaun did such an amazing job navigating the river.
Actually, Colin navigated, I steered the tiller 👍🏻

Nice to hear the birds and the human conversation thanking the lock keeper volunteer and the steady movement of water. Zen !
Glad you enjoyed it xx

I love this so relaxing listening to the water ,birdsong and other background noises! Keep it up!
Glad you like it 👍❤️🙏
Great to see all these places. I know all of them, but hardly ever seen from the perspective of the middle of the river.
These are wonderful! Meditative, calming, just what I need. Thank You. Happy Christmas!
This is my go-to video after a stressful day.
This is one of my favorite videos. I have watched it several times on your channel before. Just put it one when I need to chill for a bit❤️
I loved this. Hearing the sounds and occasionally catching a bit of your voices just as one would riding along. Makes a person feel they are with you in a day to day experience. Wonderful!
The joy of the scenery without the cost of owning a boat. Peaceful enjoyment . Many thanks guys really like this.

Wonderful idea I feel as if I’m sitting naked on the bow of the boat next to nature. Best wishes xxx
Pretty much what Colin does! 😂

Thanks, you too!
This was great. It really makes you feel immersed in the scene. Love the sound of the water lapping against the boat.
Amazing video footage quality! Loved this as it's my old stomping ground 😊
Awesome!
Wonderful and relaxing. Thank you again!
Really enjoying watching the new videos.
At one angle & For a moment it looked like HMS Belfast was coming through Tower Bridge.. lovely footage.
Thank you so much for making great videos. Its helped me relax especially if I've had a stressful day or just need to take my mind of things . Take care guys x 🐕❤
Really enjoyed this. Especially passing through London with all the landmarks. Followed your progress on Google maps which made it more interesting 🤨
Amazing thank you for another channel. Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄
Brilliant idea lads. Love it!

Good Luck With New Channel All The Best For Christmas
That was brilliant, thank you! How did you two manage to stay silent for so long? Lol!
Ooh this is lovely and relaxing but I never realised you travelled so fast. It seems a much slower pace when we're looking back at you 😁

At 45:43 in 1976 it was possible to cross by foot from one side to the other at low tide. Seems a lifetime ago now!

The sound of the water was very relaxing, but made me have to run to the bathroom to pee.
Arrgh! Starting when you were approaching the eye both husband and I got a bit seasick. Tidal indeed! When was this? Guessing last year during lockdown? Excellent footage, my darlings. 💖💖💖🌵
Agree to the water slapping the boat. Sounds like a babbling brook
Can you sound your "siren" at the end also, hopefully I will still be awake at the end, Brill, Well Done again!!!!!!
No, please , I might have finally gotten to sleep..

It's the tidal River Thames. We go with the current.

We've never shown a cabinet full of discs. Maybe you're thinking of a different channel?

I left the sound up too high and the water sounds make me want to wee for 3 hours!
this looks a bit hairy lol but still kool
Lovely video. Just to be pedantic, did you livestream this? If not, then it's not "realtime", it's a recording.
Yeah you are being pedantic. ‘Real-time’ does not mean ‘live’
Realtime means, the actual time during which a process or event occurs.

Just a comment to confuse non supporters, "How are there comments before the channel launched?"
🤣🤣🤣👍
