Exploring OGUNQUIT MAINE: North Beach, Marginal Way and Perkins Cove

- Come along with me and my friend Natasha as we explore Ogunquit Maine, IMHO the best beach of the northeast Atlantic coast.
I went to Ogunquit a few times as a child with my parents and I must admit I have a special fondness for it in my heart. I have been back about 4 times on my own or with friends in my adult life. It is just a 5.5-hour drive from Montreal so a great 4-day weekend destination.

Our day started with lunch and finding a beach with free parking. In the summer, you don,t get here early, parking will be a challenge. We spent a couple of hours on North Beach.
After a candy store stop, we headed back right into Ogunquit where we did find late afternoon parking. Since we were not hungry yet we decided to walk the cliff trail called the Marginal Way. It is a breathtaking easy hike along the Atlantic coast that ends in pretty Perkin's Cove.
There is a trolley system in the summer months so we hopped on a trolly to make our way back to Ogunquit, before heading out for the best lobster dinner ever....which will be the next video.

I did not have my telephoto lens but there was a baby bird nest in the mouth of the cat :-)

Wow, crazy busy - that's how you know it must be good! Looks like you'll have to pose as a Lobsterman to get good parking next time haha. The coastal hike looks like a nice way to get away from the crowds. Beautiful views from there!

Never heard of Ogunquit actually! The beach and the waves look so beautiful. That more rocky landscape around 2:50 looks SO nice! Now we feel like we want to come to New Hampshire :) Thank you for sharing this lovely place!

Oh my gosh, what a busy beach (the first one)! Oh well, any beach that's good will ultimately get discovered by lots of people. Love those waves, so big! :) Haha good to see I'm not the only one playing Pokémon Go. Love the kitty bird houses too, aww.

I think Natasha is right with the focus on candy! We went Glambing in Maine (Videos on our page) and loved Maine. I'm watching your video feeling like I want to jump in the car and head up again!

Calef's Country Store, it's in NH but just by the Maine border.
Ogunquit is a great place except it has the worst intersection in town that I've ever seen
Hands down totally agree at that crazy 1 stop sign.
