48,900 actual mile survivor. This is a dream boat, it rides and feels so smooth. Mostly original condition- pristine body, excellent interior with super rare bucket seats and console.
EXTERIOR: The body is an A++ on this car. There is no rust or damage, it is completely straight from every angle, every panel fits precisely. The doors can be opened with one finger and you can just let go and they click shut. The paint is believed to be mostly original. It shows really well, if you look for them you will find touch ups. The chrome and trim on this car is a 9 out of 10 and it's original. The bumpers shine beautifully, the grill is mint. It still has all four original T-3 headlights. Down each side the wide moldings are shiny and straight. The handles, fender ports, emblems are mint. The stainless trim is straight and shiny. Window frames are excellent. The tail panel looks pristine. The stainless the hubcaps are in excellent shape, they're unique to the Buick Electra. It has new Coker white wall tires. I think the convertible top is even original. It's in good shape, the rear window is a little yellowed. The power top pump was replaced. All the original glass is crystal clear including the windshield. The jambs are clean original, there are some old oil change stickers.
INTERIOR: It is in amazing original condition. Rare bucket seats and an extremely rare center console. The upholstery is all original with genuine leather. The leather is still soft, not cracked but has crinkles. The door panels are mint. The dash looks practically new. The lenses, knobs, chrome are mint. The steering wheel is like new. The original carpet is very good, has original rubber mats. Interior lights work. It features power seat, windows, and a speed minder. In the glovebox it has the original owner's manual and protect-o-plate.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is not detailed or spray painted. The Wildcat 401 nailhead motor has 4 barrel carb and makes 325 hp/445 lbs of torque. It runs as smooth as silk! A compression test was done and each cylinder is at 150 lbs. It was given a tune up, plugs and wires. It has a new battery bolted down properly. The glass washer fluid bottle is still in place. Features include power steering and brakes. It wouldn't take much to detail this motor compartment to look new. We chose to let the next owner decide to leave it original or make it show quality.

Great TH-cam content, guys - really well done vids. I’m an old “luxury car” guy. And of course the “bankers hot rods” are my favs. Among the many “classic” cars I’ve owned (many were simply “used cars” when I bought/owned them) a handful were my coveted banker hot rods - a 70 Chrysler 300, a 79 300, a 68 Olds 98 and a 73 Caprice Classic. All were 2 doors other than the “glass house” Chev.
Love to see more! I’ve been looking for something for a couple of years now, along this line - but I move to BC, Canada’s mountain province, next spring, so now I’m looking for a roadster. Early 70’s Triumph TR6’s are at the top of my list, but I’d really like to find an affordable American alternative!
      Peace

Greetings again from Ohio ..... Another amazing Volo find, and what an absolutely beautiful 64 survivor! I always loved this era of GM cars. Mr Grams I'd right that, these cars are a real treat to drive and admire. The color on this one is perfect! Again, LOVE the way you folks present and showcase these works of beauty. I am awed to watch this one turn .... It is an outstanding car, and the price is great, considering what the buyer is getting. Thank you for sharing!! This car is stunning!!

Hello Robert. I was very concerned for you and your family but from your reply it appears you're all fighting the fight ! I very often peruse through other comments as you may have guessed. Today instead of applauding Jay's video l found myself responding to a comment made by Stepeh Holmberg. I think you would agree with my response. Take care and stay safe.

@@johndavey72 I hadn't seen Mr Holmberg's comment, but kudos to you for taking the stand that you did. I couldn't agree more with what you said!!! I don't know why people in social media feel the need to contaminate it with rude, hard-core speech. That seems to be the norm of the times in which we live. Sad tho, that people bring such negativity to a great community as the Volo channel. I've grown quite fond of their operation and what they offer and stand for ..... I guess we both understand that .... How sad that some can only try to inject venomous comments. Thanks for the shout!!!

If there’s a car that defined luxury, OMG, that’s a car that just screams everything wonderful, a buddy of mine absolutely loves the look of those’64 Electras, I concur, that is just big enough to handle, and the looks you’d get driving it, people would think you’re Don Draper from MadMen, it’s no wonder that I have always been a big fan of the Buick nameplate, it’s just below a Cadillac, but I just love Buick’s they exude style!!

Nice - too bad it’s a non a/c car. I like the ‘64, and the ‘62. I almost bought a ‘62 four-door hardtop years ago, that needed paint and freshening up, for $1750. I still wish I’d bought that car.

Our mechanics can certainly do tune-ups. As Jay has said in previous videos, all vehicles get a basic inspection when coming in. Our shops primary focus is on making sure outgoing sold vehicles are ready. It is to our benefit to also market cars as soon as possible. With an inventory of ~200, that can peak to 300+ in summer months it can be quite hectic for the shop.
