Who would have thought that the author Han Kang would win the Nobel Prize in Literature back in 2022 and now here we are in 2024 as Koreans celebrate her winning the prize, people here in Korea are going insane over her win and buying all her books. I am so proud of her and big congratulations to her and her country. Her writing takes deep into painful human suffering and trauma that we all humans can relate to especially in this day and age with all the war and suffering we are literally witnessing right before our eyes. She is an amazing writer and a wonderful and caring human being. God bless you Han Kang!! We all love you very much!!
I just started this novel, so far its interesting with its ideas, style, and creative viewpoint. I too have gradually become somewhat of a vegan in my sympathy for animals and nature. And i've become increasingly concerned about a greater collective intelligence that includes all of nature. I've gradually become a tree-hugger as they are so magnificent i cannot not help to admire and respect them but also the leaf the blade of grass the beautiful flower. Its about sympathy respect and love. And i owe no one any apology for this transition , this gradual awakening and discovery of which i am very proud.
