Reminiscence Patchouli is not only great on its own, I have also layered it with sweet fragances, specially YSL Opium pour Homme, or Prada Luna Rossa Black. Normally I use a ratio of about 3 or 4 sprays of the sweet one for each spray of the Patchouli. The result (to me anyways) is kind of more mature and sober smelling, more serious than the sweet fragrance alone. And the combination smells kind of like a fragrance of its own to me, great smelling.
Hi , it is pronounced Drahjay and these are sweets ( sweet almonds) usually placed on wedding tables as favours to the guests and they do have a particular smell I would presume this perfume is reminiscing about
It's a shame they are all almondy, though. I would have preferred a bit more variety, but I'm sure they smell lovely and I'll definitely try them. FYI, the first U in Guimauve is silent, so it's roughly pronounced gee-MOV.
Oh I am so excited you reviewed these! I discovered these a few years ago...they are so nice! My only complaint is they aren't loud enough for me - Lol! I LOVE how they smell but man if they were just a bit stronger...Anyway, I think Dragee hints at Midnight Jasmine by Pearlescent Parfums, Guimauve yeah - a little like Love Don't be Shy! These are so nice, a little feminine but gourmand so, if you want to just smell edible - anyone can wear them! I will still say - if you bought these and enjoyed them please, PLEASE check out the Regal collection by Juicy Couture! Sebastian - you will dig them...and they are around $50 a bottle for 100ml! That's it! They are phenomenal - oudy, classy, not your typical Juicy Couture - one amber, one woody and one rose...Thank You for reviewing these too...These are such nice, affordable scents! xoxo
It's pronounced "drajé", it's a soft /g/, "dragué" does exist in French though, but it means something different (like chated up, if it makes sense, 😂) and guimauve is not pronounced /gwi/ but /gee/ ... if you need French pronounciation sessions, do not hesitate, I teach French in a College in London 😉.

Are they sticky sweet like Elie Saab - Girl of now? This is the only almond fragrance I got and I would like to have something else more powdery and less sticky.

Once again similar idea but in Pale Moi I don't remember featuring the green smell of the Petitgrain as it is in the Guimauve here. Also I don't recall almonds in the Parle Moi either. I would get samples to test first?
I have the heliotrope to add to my heliotrope collex. It has too much patch in it for me. 😐 I think it's a little warped to call something that u get for 50 discounted on fragrancenet as ,,cheap,, as it means that it was a lot more retail. $10 is cheap. $50 is mid for us plebians.

I have the green one (love!!!) and the pink one (strong like). I tried the white one and it had some weird note that smelled a little like cat pee to me... So pass on that one 🤭
Moderate. Most of the fragrances I discuss are moderate. I will only mention if fragrances are big and overwhelming beast mode or if they are mellow skin scents! :)

Love Guimave. It used to be called "Mi Fa" I think they were all named originally on musical notes. (do re mi fa so la ti do)
