I usually don’t watch your video until after I’m done with the day’s stitching. I’m happy I watched today’s while I was stitching - I missed the feet as well.🤦🏼♀️ 🎄💚❤
Each morning I open the envelope and say what a gorgeous color 🥰. Thanks for the trip to get the Christmas tree. It looked like everyone had a wonderful time. Beautiful stitching and I’ll be cheering you on for three stripes a day. Happy stitching and knitting
Just wanted to say that I really appreciate these daily videos. I especially love the little personal touches and glimpses into your family life. I usually watch while eating breakfast...had to finish this one a little later as I had to give and early exam this morning. (I teach at the local college). I'm still on Day 2 of stitching due to finals and the Jingle Ball, but as soon as I turn in my grades, I will catch up!
I'm so glad! Thank you for such a sweet comment ❤️ I’m loving this year - frankly my whole family has gotten into the spirit of them which I have been secretly hoping would happen for years so that maybe in the future they will look back and fondly remember their crazy wife/mother talking to her friends on the internet with them ❤️❤️❤️
This was another joyful video. Thank you so much, Caroline. That you share your family with us also is a lovely gift. While you were mentioning your tea I just had to laugh. I remembered your viewer Bob from a few years ago. He bought a type of tea on your recommendation and hated it. Wrote you so nicely, and humorously, about it and sent you the tea. That was fun to remember. Merry Christmas!!
You can do it, Caroline. Those socks are so darn cute❤️ Seeing you all cut down a tree took me back to when we lived briefly in Portland when our son was a baby. We (or I should say my husband) cut down a tree. It was tough for these city kids! But that tree was fresher when we took it out after Christmas than any tree we’d ever bought in NYC. It was so beautiful. ❤️ Despite the lovely tree we didn’t last long before we ran back to NY. We just missed it so much. Yesterday was a major frogging day. I completed the red stitching in the middle section only to discover it was off by 1/2 stitch. I thought about leaving it but I just couldn’t. The left bird was the culprit-1/2 stitch off. So ripped the culprit stitches out. 😢 But I managed to get the day’s stitching done except the last number at the top which I’ll do today. This stitch definitely takes a village so your daily videos are really helpful. Happy knitting!
Thanks for telling us about the bird feet. I even used a magnifying glass to look at my chart and I still missed those ones. Your daughter is like her mama. She doesn't need makeup to look beautiful.
Enjoyed your family adventure! When we were first dating, we would go to cut a tree. José got sick with a terrible cold and that was the end of trees for us! Thanks for showing your stitching. Really need help with the tiny symbols! Loving this experience!
I love watching the daily flossmas videos. The personal touches are very charming. Looking forward to tomorrow’s podcast. I purchased the sock yarn but haven’t started yet. I was wondering what size circulars do you use for your socks?
My go to’s are 9” circular 2.25”. My favourite brand have since retired, but Hiya Hiya makes a pretty great needle that is affordable. Also the Ciaogoo ones are nice if you don’t like the super sharpish points of a hiya. 😊
I'm not doing this project...but admit to some confusion. I thought "Suitable" would be grey...but at 2:15, you identified the 'middle motif' as done in "Suitable"...and it looks more red-brown to me. Then you pointed to the bottom motif, the two 'zig-zag' like motifs near the centre and the 3 added stitche up top on each side -- at the feet of the birds -- as the 'chocolate'. Please clarify for this confused observer! Thanks!
Hi Margaret - Suitable is our Day 1 floss and is red like Santa’s suit. Day 9 is called Milk Chocolate and is brown. Sometimes we use floss from a previous day in the current days stitching as well as the new floss.
Love your Christmas videos! Have to ask, did the snow melt or was the tree farm outside the snow band? So much snow at your house and barely any at the tree farm. Inquiring minds want to know.
Correct!! This area only got snow on one of the days of our multi snow event. Lake effect snow streamers are crazy and can dump a mass in one very specific spot and there will be green grass 20 minutes away.

Thank you for sharing your lovely family with us.
I’m loving the colors and design! Plus Jacob’s videos. And I’m actually keeping up this year.😊
So fun! I LOVE all the floss colours - so delicious!
Floss colours are amazing! Thankful I was able to snag some from the leftover packs.

Congratulations on finishing that circle beast! I’m working on your countdown box stitching tonight :) beautiful 🌲
😂😂 I felt very accomplished!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Boy Nicholas is tall. I see what you were saying about Sarah being petite. Happy tree decorating.
He is!!!! 6’3.5 and maybe still growing. ❤️
Here I am at 7:01, but only because I have stitched through the night. I should go to bed after watching this. 😊
😮
I hope you’re still snoozing away!! ❤️
