Got into Blood Bowl only this spring and had to move to BB2 for now but really want to play table top once social distancing is in the past. This has been the best condensed tournament advice for newbies I've seen/read/heard. Thanks Andy for this clip (too). I really like the streamed games as well and how you explain WHY you do what you do in those.

Solid advice. I really like the tips. Especially the practical tips on how to play in tournaments is great. Make good arrangements with the opposing coach, especially the timing part. I tend to get lost in thinking and forget about the game clock and the real time clock.
Also not having emotional decisions is key. How many games I have lost just because I got mad when a dice roll bit me in the ass. So really think about your turn order and think ahead! If you want to avoid making unnecessary rolls, start positioning you players from the set-up in a way you can reach the spots you want certain players to be in.
For me this is an emotional trigger: figuring out that I need a GFI because I didn't position correctly last turn. Just having a 2 dice block instead of 1 dB or no block at all typically isn't worth the position to give up. Unless it a gutter runner with 9 MA, they typically will still get around to the position you need and even those pieces don't want to GFI and fail into a CAS.
I will write your tips down for this years World Cup, as I want to improve my performance.

Clock is so important in TT tourney play, something even some vet coaches need to think about! I find it very frustrating when I need to put vet coaches on a clock.

With the change to break tackle in BB 2020 version; any suggestions for the 6 skills on lizardmen? Perhaps
1 Saurus with tackle
4 Saurus with block (or maybe 3 with block 1 with frenzy)
Krox with guard/brawler/stand firm
x4 block x11 tackle x1 guard maybe.

Glad you liked the feedback and the content of the video is solid (y) I would like to see a video of the same type, but focusing on league tv1000 teams and how you'd look to develop them instead of the tournament focus. Would help out rookie starting out in leagues as most new players start out there

When your talking about skills for the players 07:05 what do you mean by only 2 skills left? Im kind of new to this game sorry
A lot of the time at a table top tourney you are given a set number of bonus skills, undead typically get 5 or 6 as they are so strong

in the lizards section you hand out 7 skills, which one do you not take? I'm guessing one of the block sauri since it has a ?
It's either a skill on the Krox or a skill on a Saurus. Different TT players will tell you different, i think the very best will say skill all 6 Saurus as they don't have bonehead and can therefore be relied upon to behave
Have a question i have a tourney coming up. And am taking elf union or underworld. What would you take for them at 1100 tv? Preferably underworld
