A tip for first time visitors to the Greek Islands. I have visited and sailed in Greece over many years, decades in fact. When not sailing I have rule, avoid the islands with airports if you want a taste of the old Greece. Especially if the airport takes international flights, these will be wall to wall package tourists. Stay one night and jump on a ferry if you arrive by plane. Loving these videos and yes when I first sailed there we had no wind speed, plotter, GPS, water maker, hot water, or thrusters. 👍

Hi, Catching up all the video's from the biginning. So a marathon day of your video's. We are now in Portugal, also on our way to Greece. Q: The island name of the WW2 wreck? I didn;t understand it. I realy want to see that too.
You’re right, safety doesn’t take a day off. It’s bad enough that you rode the scooter in flip flops and bare skin but no crash helmet!!! That’s seriously bad form. Trust an old Traffic Cop who’s seen bad stuff to know what good for you. Otherwise a great vid.
@@daveholley2156 yes I saw that and pleased to see it was eventually worn. I suppose I was just making a point especially the flip flops. I cringe when watching sailing vids, at the number of barefoot sailors. There are so many fittings on a deck that wait for toes to catch. I speak from experience on that one and now rarely go on deck barefooted.

@Brian Jones you are too right...did you see the video where James gets his toe stuck in a fairlead! I have seen him wearing shoes now when sailing !
