  • As the value of resilience grows increasingly clear, building one’s skillset to include a broad array of strategies and techniques can help buffer against social, economic, and ecological uncertainties. The practice of coppice agroforestry and other forms of resprout silviculture, along with Keyline patterning are powerful tools to inform and diversify approaches to land management.
In this introductory workshop, Mark Krawczyk goes over the fundamentals of keyline design. In part 1, he focuses on 'Scale of Permanence & Keyline Terms.' Mark is a grower, ecological planner, and author of the book, Coppice Agroforestry.

Thank you for this very easy to follow introduction to Keyline concepts.

It appears contra-intuitive, it seems to make water flow uphill. I would have loved Yeomans and Savory to have met and talked.

They have, in a way, Allan would have read Yeomans. The power of printing. Nice thought anyway.
