@@thefootballfolk Do you have a video on how to create a program routine if you are on a Sunday league team and would like to incorporate agility, stamina, weightlifting into a program. Tks.
@6.00 - Coaches tip: walk backwards while setting up cones. Then you can see if they are in line as you go. Bonus tip: put a little Frisbee spin on the cones if you throw them down. It prevents them fluttering around and flipping upside down.
I left football professionally years ago. Found your channel and never left since then. Its always good to learn things , specially the way you show us. Appreciate the good work mate 💯
Good stuff. I've been doing Knees OT Guy stuff for my knees and played my first game in ages the other day, never felt better. 45yo CB suddenly thinking about a ten year career because of his exercises. I really like the vibe of your videos too. I'm sure it's conscious, but I appreciate the cool energy of the whole thing. Please continue.
That’s awesome to hear mate! Yea it’s really helped me with some of the old injuries I picked up. Glad to hear you’re enjoying the videos. Plenty more to come this year 👍
Yeah...the failure thing got me yesterday pretty much. Me and my friends started to play futsal. The thing is, that we even hired a coach to train us. While it helped us not conceding goals that much (2 goals yesterday and the week before also 2) which is in futsal pretty good, we are still losing and sit on the last place. I am aware, that it needs time, but it kills me and frustrates me that we don't win.
I feel like when you’re aiming top bins it’s all about trusting your body to execute what your body is capable of. You can’t narrow your focus down to one aspect of your shot but you can’t swing your leg without being fully confident in your movement. The only way to gain confidence is through successful repetition
I’d recommend recording yourself to see where you might be going wrong. Being a good dribbler suggests you likely have the basics down. Otherwise I’d recommend the same things I mention in this video: keeping your eye on the ball until it’s left your foot. Standing leg pointing towards the target and close to the ball. Loading into that standing leg so that you can generate the power 👍
Happy new year, Tony! I knew you're an Arsenal fan because of your understanding of football. Just like I guessed you were a fitness coach before. I knew it! I'm a Gunner's fan for 22years.😃😃😃 December is always tough for us, right?🤣🤣 BTW, I'm going to take an IELTS exam on 28th Jan. Then I'll try to apply to the University of Calgary for kinesiology. I don't have much confidence because I'm almost 35. Maybe I'll try to apply to Otago or Canterbury for kinesiology if I fail. I'm a pretty good powerlift player that I can lift up to 3 times more self-weight of the bar and maybe also quite a good amateur football player. I can't spare time for both sports, I know it's impossible. I wanna know more of sports sciences and I don't want stay in my country in any seconds. So, that's why I decided to learn further in the sports area and leave Shanghai forever. If I come to NZ, maybe I can buy you some drinks and we can have a nice conversation. Wish me luck, OK?😉 I won't give up if I'm not make it this time. Your huge fan and the biggest trouble maker😆😆😆
That’s awesome to hear you might end up in NZ! It’s an awesome country with a lot to offer. Canada is also a good option. I loved living there too 👍 You’re so right! December is not a good month for Arsenal. Let’s hope they can bounce back and give the rest of the season a good crack
@@thefootballfolk Yeah, let's hope those young gunners can bounce back ASAP. They must overcome the Asian Cup and the Africa Cup, Tomiyasu and Partey are so important for us. And I hope Jesus will come back soon. COYG! Anyway, maybe I'll text you on Instagram when everything I done.😃😃 I hope that I'll get a good result.
Loved the video! Do you have any advice for coming off the bench for 5-10 minutes at key points in a game where there might not be time to build confidence gradually. Thank you!!
Great question. Some players are better than others at matching the pace as soon as they come on. I’d recommend keeping it simple for the first couple of touches. But I think the key is in the warm up and building to the intensity of the game so that you’re ready when you do enter the game 👍
dude like half a year ago i critisized you for having too many special effects and stuff in a video (imo). Thats why it's only fair to compliment you on this video. the pace, sound and just the laid-back style of the whole video were absolutely perfect and made it relaxing, intriguing and entertaining all at the same time! i was subscribed quite early and i'll keep recommending your channel to my friends! Keep it up mate
It’s hard to say not knowing your ability. But if you have the basics down, I’d focus a lot of building stamina and understanding positioning for both attacking a defending situations
I have a question how do I stop curving the ball because every time I shooter it or hit a long ball I always curve it and it kind of gets in the way of the play
You’re literally making videos exactly for me, every single one of your videos is helping me of what I couldn’t do. And also, its great to see how much you have grown🎉🎉🎉
Oh man, I missed the QA. I was going to ask how you pick your cleats? Since watching your videos, I feel you are inconsistent with the selection. And you definitely didn't like the last one 😅.
The editing and video quality is superb👏 the way the sound effects matches the visuals😍.
Thank you for the effort and amazing content🙂
You made my day! Thank you!
Saw the notification, clicked it

man, just keep doing it. regretting what happened won't give you anything .
wins will only come with practise and time, use the losses as learning points rather than things to dwell on
Novice geriatric footballer loving the tips, thanks a million
