What a thought provoking teaching! 🕊️ May we all strive to become as Spurgeon describes, through The Lord’s mercy and grace. I believe that it would be impossible to do so without that. This certainly gives me a new, heightened appreciation for the enormity of the Pastor’s calling along with the tremendous ongoing “work” with God (attempts to seek and remain in constant light and communion with God). The depth of spiritual responsibility in the call and work of a pastor are awe-inspiring. As one who is a sheep, I believe that this message is vital and applies to all of us that we do not “fall short of” hitting the mark. Thank you for making these wonderful teachings available to us!
