Using all your ideas for Christmas gifts. ❤
TIP - When using, and cleaning anything microfiber….(towels, cloths, mop heads, etc. ) never use bleach, fabric softener, or fabric sheets when you launder, as those items ruin the absorption of microfiber.
I’ve learned this the hard way. I read on a microfiber mop pad when I bought never use those items…🤦🏻‍♀️ that’s why my stuff lost its absorption.

When doing the cushion covers for the outside chairs, let me suggest a zipper instead of srwing it closed. Zippers aren't so difficult, it's going in a chair cushion, not a silk ball gown, and it will make care of the pillows so much easier for you. 🥰

  • @triplewinlin5576

A tip for you... When you want to make something like your handles that are narrow and too difficult to turn, use your iron to press in your seam allowance on both sides, pin wrong sides together, and then topstitch your seam closed.

Hi Katherine to turn fabric inside out….
    1. Cut a square piece of timber for the base
    2. Buy a thin piece of dowel say 30cm tall
    3. Drill a hole in centre of timber base
    4. Using wood glue push dowel into hole.
Makes turning long tubes of fabric quick and easy 😊x

Great video Catherine, to make the cushion handles thinner you can fold the turned out handle in half and sew the open end from about 2inches in to about 2 inches from the end and this will give you a thinner grip to get hold of (you can still do it now that you have finished, it will just be a bit fiddly) 😊 I am going to make the heatless curler for my daughter, she will love it x

If you get a short piece of pvc pipe that fits inside, you can push it in, and pull the tube up as far as you can to get to the bottom, and push the filler in the tube and through. Pull the pipe up some, and continue. This helps get all the way to the bottom and throughout without having to push it all the way through the fabric tube.
