I love this BR rig....I tote a Citadel Vannak 3 for EDC,and got a Bradford Guardian for by B-DAY (aug 3rd,same day as this pub),and I am in LOVE....Has the AEB-L steel....I just strope and never use others as these without hurting blade risk..What a MODERN SUPER STEEL....Does not even scratch and I cut thick cord off a heavy cable......If you never reviewed Bradford knives,A must!!!!! I !ove this Bark River though,beautiful..AEB-L KRYPTONITE SUPERMAN steel....
Please, see if Will would do the Bark River Kephart 5 in 3v . I am really looking forward for his take on that knife in the woods and especially his viewpoint on its kitchen/food/game preparation.
I've built hundreds of fires in my 56yrs, only use ferro rods, I've yet to carve out feather sticks to achieve my goal, a fire. Too many small kindling laying around the mountains of Wild and Wonderful West Virginia.
Sure... me either also I have yet to NEED to do a bow drill but good skill to have just incase. I mean I'm a guy and I'm never gonna have a baby but i have nipples just in case lmao!!!
I will say this... if at all possible I will use another knife or scraper to use on a ferro rod to keep that sharp edge on the spine of my primary knife

Does anyone know if they will end up making an “LT” version of this knife? I really like the drop point, but I just purchased a Bravo 1.25 LT, and I’m having a hard time deciding if the alpha is worth buying since they are very similar in length and blade geometry, with the exception of the blade thickness and near spear point on the alpha. Ugh, I’ve been spending way too much money on knives lately
How close in design is this to the Lon Humphrey Alpha? The blade shape, length look super similar, only difference looks like is BRK handle vs Humphrey handle
I went like 2 years without watching this Chanel .. felt like 2 months ... but I am wondering what ever happened to all the cool water bottle knife tests and BK7 ? And BK9 and the work sharp? And the shed ? And the axes and Jess X and the Rambo knife review still makes me laugh haha

I think it's a good knife, just no fan of the Kephart style or the Nessmuck style knives. I like a finer point. But the review was good.
