It has a little of the theme from when you start the game near the end, the first time I faced this boss I knew why memories were so important in this game, if you didn't have enough you die and if you had enough they become Ultracite that you can use against the boss. anyways this was one game I sadly have hated to part with. my only wish is that it would be remade for the 3DS.
The first phase of the end boss had a safe spot where you couldn't be hit, and in the actual end fight your memories made you invincible permanently. At least the way of finding the passage to the endgame was creative.
There's a soft time limit in that fight, where if you don't prevent Raem from sucking up your memories you get a non-standard Game Over. If your memories go below 10, you get that non-standard Game Over in all parts of the final area after the Meteor Parasite. You can find out how many memories your character has by using the Game Boy Advance. In addition, each memory bubble represents one diary page. Basically, the more you do in Crystal Chronicles, the longer you can fight in the final battles.
@@thend4427 Lmao. Honestly I wouldn't have figured the desert out earlier myself (I'm just gonna assume that's where you got stuck on), I just googled it and gave my bro small hints bc he was in year 16 already. He would've gotten it soon himself, though.
um, no, raem becomes memiroa by forcibly fusing with mio (gayyyyyy!) and refuses to fade. as you chip away at him, memories flood back, and become strength
Only the few ones that know this theme... they know.
Man I miss these games
When bosses were truly hard and losing was very likely
The first time took me time, but defeat it… cuz fate of memories and everyone I’ve cherish was in play … my family gave me strength!!
Just recently beat this game.

@@charlesquick9977 My wish came true but on a different system, The Nintendo Switch! I am so hyped!
@@charlesquick9977 when the remake got shown i kinda cried some tears of joy this game has so many good memorys funny is it not
Raem fuses with Mio in an effort for survival, therefore creating Memiroa.
Best final boss song
this song is so sad, i love it. *blub*
Underrated af final boss theme
I will not fade
i really like this song and even better. its extended!
this is my new favorite song
The design of this boss based on Necron from FFIX. The thing with memories is similar as well.
And both CC and FFIX had the same designer
He was Thanos before Thanos was even invented
@@dolphinboi-playmonsterranc9668 Someone obviously didn't read comic books.

Must've missed the comment.
My brother went in with ~170 memories, so I'm not surprised I didn't know that.
Thanks for letting me know.
@@bup6340I went in with 400 lmao

Ciaran BT theme btw.
Thank you!
I...never actually beat this boss back in childhood. Not because it was hard, but because I was little and too scared to encounter it.
Raem is a damn demon
Ugh I hated this boss he is really hard on single player but I haven't beat him with a friend either but the music is beautiful.
its the raem fuses for lady mio creating a raem memiroa the results unidet decent
